A standard Islands Restaurant experience with pleasant decor, numerous TVs, fast and friendly service, and reasonably good food. Entrees, including burgers, are priced around $12 to $15. The burgers, fries, and tortilla soup were satisfying, and the veggie tacos exceeded expectations. However, the coleslaw accompanying the veggie tacos was nearly inedible.

I regret not getting his name. He was a young mixed rac leaning towards mexican or puerto rican 5ft 11 maybe 6ft tall short hair waiter brown skin. Between maybe 21 and 26 he was awesome . Handle our table very smooth. Respected our dinner by popping in and out real detailed straight to the point and efficient.. give that kid a raise. We tipped him 25 for the hour.

The food is a little pricey. I had artichoke dip
And th chicken tacos. Both plates were good and reasonable portions. The place is laid out with mostly booths and the are somewhat private. They have tvs throughout the restaurant that play surf videos ect.
They keep the restaurant chilly so bring a jacket or a Hoodia. It's wheelchair excessable and is kid friendly.

got the hawaiian burger. i would say don’t get it because you just taste the teriyaki unless you love that so much. the kaileau burger was good tho
the fries were hard but the service was super good and everyone was nice. and you don’t come for the fries anyways

Good hamburger restaurant in Mission Valley with a beach theme. Lots of TVs where you can watch various surfing videos and they also show popular sports. We had the Wave and Maui hamburgers which were very good and our server Lauren was fantastic. She was quick, friendly, checked up enough to make sure we had everything we needed but not intrusive. Fun decorations and good looking restaurant.

Upgraded to island fries with my hamburger. They were not seasoned well. They just tasted like regular fries. Onion rings tasted like they were fried in old oil, not too bad tasting, but still tasted burnt. I didn't like the strawberry lemonade either. The burgers were good, though. The ranch and bbq sauce was good too.

This used to be our go-to place for a great burger and salad and a good beer. The food is so subpar now for some reason. My other go to was always something with chicken and now I won't go near the chicken cuz it's always always dry. We sat at the bar and had great service once again. But, I hesitate in going again because there's literally one thing I like to eat. It's too bad that the food changed so drastically.

They pour the perfect temp for their beer 🍺 using thick mugs out of the freezer! Beer stays so cold! Burgers are bomb! Staff is always cool 😎
