California Burrito

My taquitos tasted great except for the shredded cheese they put on top. I love cheese but it was thick shredded cheddar. I judge Mexican food restaurants on their bean and cheese burritos and it was very disappointing. Please do not use cheddar only people, at least cheddar jack. Tortilla was the best part of the burrito😓. Carne asada fries looked good though.

These folks are the real deal. Authentic, friendly, God fearing freedom loving folks. You got to get past the tight parking and less than elegant surroundings. Just go inside, read the quote of the day, see the smiles on their faces, look at the postings on the wall.. Thank you so much! I’m getting teary eyed just thinking about it today! Wow! I like a ground beef chimichanga… but seriously the love and sheer volume of business this small place does is simply incredibly impressive and amazing! I ate my breakfast burrito for supper. Man it sits hard and long on the tummy but boy does it taste absolutely delicious !!!🤤

My niece recommended California burritos for our family meal after a group outing. There were eight of us and many of us are picky when they order. It was a very large order and we asked for five salsas per order. It took awhile to get it together but they were very busy and when the order came out, it was very accurate, well packaged, tasted great, & came with 40 delicious salsas. Job very well done. A +++.

Best little taco shop in San Diego. We stop here anytime we're on the 163. The food is excellent and the portions are generous. It's just a tiny little hole in the wall place with indoor seating for 2 and outdoor seating on picnic tables. The parking lot is small. The food is very good, the people are nice, and the prices are typical for a taco shop.

I'm a returning diner. I stopped here with my family, who are visiting from Florida, to get dinner to-go on our way home from touring San Diego. There are seating inside and outside. There's limited parking out front, and some more street parking. There were a couple people eating in, but most people that came took their food to-go. We ordered a lot of food for 7 people, and they were quick to get the order made. The service was friendly and knows their menu well. The place is small, but I find small-hole-in-the-wall places are typically great for food. This place is no exception. I ordered a California Burrito for myself, and it was delicious. My brother also ordered his first California Burrito, and he liked it too, barely finishing it with it being big. I would definitely come back for more.
