The place was great there wasn't that many people in there because most people got their orders online so that me restaurants seating smooth me and my wife were on our anniversary dinner and we were able to sit right in front of the waterfall after a couple had left which was perfect thanks to the staff on hand

Spices in curry was great! Spicy level was as expected! Service was prompt! Royal India’s lamb biryani has a lot of favorite by adding cumin and fried onions bites. It has good portion of lamb pieces. However, I usually like saffron on biryani rice and a little drier texture. Restaurant has indoor and outdoor seatings and is spacious with nice decoration. Will go back and try other dishes.

Lots of wonderful food selections. We both loved our lunch. They have a stunning indoor water wall. There was helpful, friendly service in an casually elegant decor. The restaurant is tucked away in a corner of a Carmel Valley neighborhood mall, but is very easy parking for lunch. They have lunch specials. And it's affordable. The mall is a great resource with banking, hardware, other intriguing restaurants. I will go there again.

We hosted a reunion event for 50 of my engineering batchmates and spouses here last week! Jag and Royal India stepped it up a notch. From private seating area to food set up, presentation and quality, it was excellent. Everyone loved it. Felt cozy enough where we could walk around and tall, yet enjoy rye excellent service by Sergio and team. One person even listed this as top 10 worldwide best Indian restaurant - and she's from Toronto which has a large Indian presence and restaurant collection! Says something! Thanks RI Del Mar!

I love love love Indian food. It's one of my favorite things! Royal India is authentic and feels so homey. Every dish is out of this world delicious. I went with the lychee martini, the tandoori wings, the chicken masala & the spicy chicken. First off, the lychee martini was perfection. I'll definitely be back to get this! The wings were so flavorful, I could of eaten them all. The chicken Masala was one of the best I've ever had. It felt like a great comfort food. My friend got the spicy chicken Kabab and he cleared his plate lol. To add onto the gotear food, service was amazing. They really take care of you and make sure you're happy with the meal! I'll be back soon for that martini!

Today I visited Royal India located in Delmar. Scrumptious food, lit ambience and swift service. Everything from presentation of food to taste is truly amazing. We started off with mango lassi which was super refreshing. Tandoori Paneer Tikka is definitely a must try here. In Mains malai kofta was extremely delicious. In dessert pistachio kulfi and shahi mango is my absolute favourite. All in all it was truly amazing.
