Whenever I make my way out to Pacific Beach I make a point to go to Board and Brew.
They aren't trying to reinvent the wheel, they are just serving straight up fresh and delicious sandwiches on the regular.
I myself order the Toms Choice- which is Turkey and roast beef
Stopped in here before heading back to our hotel after an afternoon on the beach. Not a huge menu but everyone in our party of 5 was very happy with what they ordered. The sandwiches were bigger than expected which was a nice surprise. Their cookies are really good to.

My brother has been raving about this place for years but turns out it lived up to the hype. Sandwiches are so good and the service is quick and ultra friendly. Love the sauce on the side, squaw bread and everything else on their menu.
Very good sandwiches. Pretty simple so can’t really go wrong. Baguette was soft and chewy which reminds me more of rolls from Philly/NJ than a French baguette.
I would recommend skipping the Mayo and asking for a side of their special sauce instead.

Board and Brew is fantastic - not only because of its signature sauce, which sets it apart from other small sandwich chains, but because--for this location specifically--you can literally walk out of the store and go see the Pacific Ocean with your sandwich. Ocean. Sandwich. A perfect combo.
