We've been here many times, and the owner always makes me feel comfortable. We shared with the owner the name of the Loving Hut we visited when we were in Vietnam 🇻🇳 the week prior. We showed her pictures of some of the food there. Another day, another successful meal. My vegetables were good today. My wife's salad 🥗 dressing ran over into her lucky lemongrass. Also, she will have to p cook her 'meat' more at home to get it crunchy. 7/15/2023: The menu has taken a drastic change since our last time there.

Literally my top 3 favorite places in San Diego! I always enjoy eating here and having a place where I don't have to question the ingredients of the food. Happy for this vegan restaurant 😋 that is so SCRUMPTIOUS! Regardless of your dietary choices, definitely a delicious place to eat.

The Cha Cha Noodles were very garlicky and flavorful. The spicy ramen was pretty good. Very good value and portions, and super nice staff.

10 stars if I could! I've been loving loving hut for quite some time. This location in particular. We had to get our usual order which is their Cali burritos trust me on this one. If you are ever craving a vegan version of a Cali burrito run here! I like their Thai tea as well, dairy free. This was our first time trying the loving strips. I have tried most of the menu items but I usually skip the appetizers. I really liked these "chicken" strips! The crispy texture reminded me of the beyond meat strips at KFC. The sauce by itself was not good. But dip the strips in and it's a winning combo! Good tasting vegan food is so hard to come by. When I found loving hut a few years ago, I never turned back. Thank you loving hut!

We stopped here for a dinner during a trip to San Diego. The customer service was great & it’s the main reason why I’m giving it a 5-star review. The food was good too, especially the burrito, and prices are fair. On the negative side, I would say that the menu is way too big. They have almost everything you can think of. From sushi, to burritos, from burgers to Pad Thai. This makes it harder to decide and to know what they are good at (it’s unlikely that they can make everything equally well). Another point of feedback would be about the juices. We had a kombucha and the Kefir Soda and both were so so. Next time I will surely order different drinks. Good experience overall but there are some improvement opportunities.

How in the WORLD did they make vegan food that not only is good by vegan standards, but by general food standards, too? 100% try this place, and don't apply the double standard to vegan food many might have. You'll be surprised by the quality of the food.

This place is a delicious heaven for vegan people. I am not vegan but I have to say their foods are delicious. I ordered a Cha Cha and my friend ordered a bowl of ramen, both of our foods are very yummy. I think my Cha Cha’s texture is very similar to the real shrimps but a little more chewy. The flavor how they cook is very flavorful. We also tried their famous Pandan cake, it is soooooo good! I highly recommend it. It tastes like some cakes I had when I was a kid, which brings back a lot of sweet memories.

Been to Loving Hut for years and other locations across the country. Each one is different and unique to the area. For example, I couldn’t get Cali burrito in Orlando. My favorites are Cali burrito, cha cha fried rice, loving strips and spam musubi. It tastes like the real deal! The trick is to eat it while it’s still warm. As it gets cold, you’ll taste the soy and chewiness.
