Small cute local bar with good drinks. I went for the Christmas/holiday set up that they had. There was a line to get in on a Thursday so definitely get there early. Unfortunately there’s no time limit so people were probably there for hours. They don’t let it get super crowded inside which I appreciated.

Wow!! Loved the atmosphere for Christmas and the specialty drinks that were being offered. This place does get crowded when they first open, but there is patio seating as well as indoor seating. I would recommend sitting at the bar if you can as it is a good place to see the entire bar as the bar is not very large. It looks like Mariah carey exploded; every inch of space is covered in some sort of Christmas decor🤩🤩🤩. Drinks were reasonably priced for this area, but all parking is street parking, so keep that in mind. Visiting during the holidays is the best time 😍😍

It was my first time visiting this bar. I’ve always driven past it or walked past it, but never decided to check it out until yesterday. They have the whole place decorated for the Holiday and the whole menu is special holiday drinks. LOVED the vibe and the drinks were all made so well and aesthetically pleasing. We had a shot as well, called ‘On Prancer’, which tasted like a cookie (delicious). It is first come, first served seating, but it did not take long to find a spot for a group of 3. Definitely check it out if you want to do some fun Holiday activities!!

I was told about this place years ago but didn't have a chance to go until today and was very impressed. This is a great mixology bar with quite an extensive menu of cocktails. Everything we got was delicious, the bartenders were surprisingly quick considering the complexity of the drinks, and the atmosphere was great so I highly recommend!

Finally found a decent lemon drop in San Diego! I know it’s an easy drink to make but other places in SD have let me down when it came to making a legit lemon drop. Polite Provisions is a must go to spot. I stayed down the street with some friends and noticed how popular this spot is, especially on the weekends. We came in on a Thursday around 4:30pm and we practically had the place to ourselves. The bartender was polite and knew what he was doing behind the bar. The architecture and decor inside is pleasant and attention grabbing. Grab a friend or two and check this place out, you won’t be disappointed. Their happy hour menu is really good too! I recommend the ocean side cocktail; it has an aromatic and fresh taste to it because of mint and celery bitters.

Some live music would be very nice for this setting. The location has a very nice environment to it and the decoration is spot on in my opinion. I wish the service would have more urgency (everything took too long) - the drinks were not bad at all but also not the best I have experienced. The best ones were the cocktails containing coffee liqueur (but I enjoy coffee so take it with a grain of salt).
