If there was no other feature of this restaurant other than the waitress, I would go here again. The girl was one of the hardest workers in have ever watched. She was practically running to keep up with the number of customers and let me tell you, she did magnificently and kept a smile on her face the entire night. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. It was spiced perfectly and was very fresh. I would have only given four stars for food alone, but I appreciate hard work and a positive attitude so have a fifth star and thank young girl in track suit.

The food is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is nice, not too loud, and inviting. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Tom Yum was amazing. Just the right amount of sour and the flavors were perfect. The pineapple fried rice is less sweet than others I've had and I appreciate that. It was more light and doesn't overwhelm your taste buds. I would recommend eating here without hesitation.

Good food and variety. A vegan vegetarian and carnivores can all safely eat there. I had the spicy fried jasmine rice. Really was good. Atmosphere is ok. Plain Asian motif. Go for the food and not the atmosphere. Prices reasonable. Good quality food that won't break the bank.

Had a great lunch on a work trip. Super lunch specials and great food. I had tom kha soup, green curry with brown rice, spring roll, and a little salad. Everything was great.

The atmosphere is visually crisp and I liked the 70s hits being played. The staff are quite friendly. It was pretty slow when we went- that could be Monday night. The food was served quite quickly- that could be because it was slow. The food was very good; I'm no expert on Thai but I think they have good twists on at least a few dishes. I'd never had Thai dumplings before, and they were delicious. In addition to peanut sauce, the satay came with a sweet vinegar sauce with cucumber, which worked surprisingly well. And the pad thai had a cirtus edge, also sweet. Actually, now that I think about it, they first asked what spice level we wanted. Our answer of "mild" (very sensitive stomach) might account for the sweetness. If so, they're very accommodating without sacrificing flavor. Bottom line is, we really enjoyed Issara Thai, and look forward to dining there on our next trip into town.

This is one time that I would love to give more then five stars. The food here is so delicious and the people that work here are incredible and friendly. I have been looking for a Thai Restaurant that would just make me want to come back and I found it at Issara Thai in Liberty Station. The spicy level you pick is 0 - 10 . I can't have spicy food so I am so glad they give you a choice. I had the phad Thai lunch and it came with soup salad two wanton and two non greasy non deep fried egg rolls which I loved. My husband ordered vegetable soup and cashew stir fry so delicious, we started with muscles and how heavenly they were. I suggest making a trip to this restaurant you will not be disappointed.

This was my first time visiting Issara, and we had a party of 16. They were able to accommodate all of us together. Being able to choose my level of heat was nice for a change. Watching who would be first to break out with the sweats was so much fun. Everyone injured the food but wanted what the person next to them had. L O L... I got the thai ribs. I would definitely try it again.
