Y'all know how much I love Mexican food... I'd eat it breakfast, lunch, and dinner if I could... and today, I had my favorite breakfast at @cocina35 in San Diego! The wait wasn't too bad, but most definitely worth it! Enough of small talk... let's get to the Le grub!! Chilaquiles Al Pastor... straight fire! Topped with a creamy secret sauce, al pastor, grill pineapple. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Chicken Flautas... perfect size and flavor! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Chilaquiles de Mercado... salsa verde topped with crispy carnitas! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 The secret sauce was a bit spicy but just added to the flavors. Not pictured is the horchata... the taste homemade and was absolutely great! 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a spot for great chilaquiles! Absolutely the chilaquiles I've had at a restaurant EVER!!! Foodie secret Sidenote: hop online and Google cocina 35, and join the waitlist... it'll save you some wait time🤫🫡😁 Until next time, my foodie friends, stay happy and stay full!! 🫡🫡🫡🫡

Good chilaquiles and agua de jamaica. We arrived at 8:30 on a Sunday morning and did not have to wait to be seated. The hostess was not very friendly and neither was the cashier but the food and music were good. I expected better taste for the salsa. Would probably bring friends from out of town here. I really enjoyed that they have plates that show what you are ordering 😊

I got the El Patron plate and everything in it was delicious. Definitely some tasty food here! I was also happy that they had Cafe de Olla. The staff is super nice.

Possibly the best chilaquiles in town. A little pricey and a very long wait, but the chilaquiles were delicious. The beans were not very good, but everything was overall excellent.

Chiliquiles are my absolute favorite dish! I had been taking an afternoon walk when I came upon this delightful restaurant. This was my first time here! Do not be put off when you go inside to order because seeing all the various dishes was in a word, Wow! I opted for the Chile relleno with a side of refried beans - it was like being in my grandmother's kitchen. The avacado was super fresh too. I forgot to order a side of tortillas (which I always dunk in my beans), but the waitress was really helpful. I think she was shocked at the tip I gave her. I am on a mini vacation, and there is no price for good service; excellent food and a calm atmosphere to eat in. I ate outside on the sidewalk mini patio. This was first experience doing this too. My Spanish is limited - the staffs is not, let them make you feel at home. Me hiciste sentir como en casa. Me hiciste sentir como en casa.
