Happy Hour till 9:30 pm! Say what?!? I can't believe that there's such a thing. We ordered few appetizers and ordered our drinks with no shame. - Spinach Artichoke Dip with enough chips and bread for $6 was too good. - $10 Happy Hour Sampler includes Buffalo Wings, onion rings, loaded skins, and mozzarella cheese was banging with flavor. - Lemon Pepper Zucchini for $4 is a must have. It was really really really good. Our waitress was awesome! Ordering Happy Hour alcohol from her was very pleasant, and she was very helpful. Eventhough I ordered a shot second time around and requested it to be on the rocks. She gave me no judgment and replied with "Of course, we could do that for you." We were definitely happy during those hours!

Was visiting my son at UCSD not so long ago when we decided to go out for a late lunch at Claim Jumper at this location. Food was great as always but service was not what I expected. Somebody took our order and forgot about us (restaurant had only a few tables occupied) until I complained about our missing drinks and bread. Service improved after that with no further incident. Food was great while service not so great at the begining of our visit. Prices are a bit high.

Stopped in for dessert, at the Carmel Mt Claim Jumper. We had wonderful service in the bar/lounge area. Our server suggested we try the Berry Butter Cake and oh my, it was delicious. It was kind of like if a strawberry shortcake and a muffin had a scrumptious baby. We'll definitely be back soon for another dessert date!

I will this with mixed feelings. The food was delicious and the waiter was courteous & attentive. However the dinner started off on a negative note by the hostesses. We walked in right before 5pm and gave the hostess our name. She told us it will be only 5-10 min. We waited about 20 minutes before asking the hostess how much longer. They had skipped our name in the list. They sat us immediately but did not apologize for the mistake. It was a little upsetting. Photos show the dessert cabinet. Complimentary cheese bread. Ribeye (medium 12oz) with grilled veggies and loaded mashed potatoes. Chicken pot pie. Kid's hamburger with grapes & fries. Kid's pizza (doesn't come with sides).
