Had a nice lunch at Encontro North Park. We sat on the dog friendly patio on high chairs. We ordered the Encontro sliders and albacore tuna melt with truffle fries which were all very good. To drink we had a churro and chocolate shakes which were both very tasty. They even have a dog menu which we loved and ordered the free puppucino (whipped cream) and the pupp patty (hamburger patty). The food came out very quick and the service was great. Recommend!

Great spot for amazing food. On the corner of University and 30th in the Northpark district of San Diego. 24 beers on tap and a great selection of wines, many from Mexico that the owner/chef personally selects.
The tuna poke is a must order. We also ordered the tuna melt, tri-tip sandwich and the Mac and cheese. Too much food but it was all delicious!Patty Melt

Good atmosphere, most of the food we had was good! The fish and chips wasn’t as good as expected and the BLT was okay too. If do go again and try other things. The truffle fries were good when they were fresh!!

The food and service here is amazing. Our waitress was extremely helpful and friendly as we were visiting. She also allowed us to taste a few beers prior to ordering, which saved us from regretting the choice and sending the drinks back. You can bring your dog here too which was a big pro for us. The salads are incredible. My only complaint is the beer menu. They could use a few additions or alternatives, like lighter beers and/or hard seltzers or mixed drinks.

Nice restaurant with many craft beers to choose, I chose the one named Cali Creamin which tasted creamy and fresh. My son ordered lamb burger and I ordered Tuna melt, they were very good.

Came here for a quick bite. This place delivered! Went to part time lover next door to get a drink and came here for some food. Truffle fries were crunchy and tasty. Mac and cheese was average. Fried chicken sliders were good to share with a friend! Overall a nice place to grab some quick bar food. Price was reasonable.

Where else in San Diego can you get Cardiff Crack for lunch?! Here and it’s great! Had the Crack burger and it was really juicy on a brioche bun. Also had the Cardiff Crack Sano to split with friends and we all liked the burger better. French fries extra crispy. Will come back for more!

We enjoyed fish and chips (comes with tasty tarter sauce, ketchup and malt vinegar on the side), lamb burger as main entrees and butter biscuits and portobello mushroom fries as appetizers. Great outdoor seating and staff was very accommodating. Highly recommended!

I went during happy hour and they were busy but it was a great experience and I will return. I did order a dessert and mini drinks but nothing real to eat off the menus so I cannot speak on that and due to them being busy the service was little slow but it is expected. If you are a fan of the show 90 day fiance then you may just look up like I did and get to see a celebrity there. Also the drinks were good and they are pet friendly where they even have menus for your fur babies.

This is one of my daughter's favorite places to dine. She especially loves the truffle tots. The menu is diverse, and the food is very good. The chicken and savory waffles are unique and flavorful, my guest ate everything but the bare bones! They also have out door seating with heaters which we greatly appreciate. It would be great to see some type of glazed crispy pork belly on a stick here, as I think it would compliment their flavor profiles. We will return for sure.
