Sportsmen's Seafood - San Diego - Photo album

We really enjoyed the fish and chips after a fun whale watching tour! It had great flavor, perfectly crispy, and we thought it was the best fish and chips we have ever had. Shrimp and ahi tacos were ok. Highly recommend!
We went here on a Tuesday afternoon after a Whale watch tour. The weather was perfect to be able to enjoy our meal outside and there was not a large crowd. That being said I could see if this place got packed out there would not be much seating for enjoyable experience but the food makes up for all
Food was decent, nothing special, however, this place is very convenient if you want to stick in this area or are coming off of doing a boat tour. It has indoor and outdoor seating. The inside could definitely be upgraded, however, their service was pretty fast
I have to start out by saying the staff is great here . They were engaging and very nice . I see reviews saying the food wasn't great and maybe it's because it is set up as a sort of fast food type atmosphere but with that being said it's beats the heck out of other fast food we have eaten ! Thanks
Sportsman's Seafood is hands down the best place to get Fish-n-Chips in San Diego! Whether it be the Cod or the Halibut, they are delicious. The entire menu is delicious, fresh, and priced right. I've been eating here for over 10 years and always introduce visiting family to my favorite little spot.
Great prices, wonderfully view and fun tiled tables outdoors. This is a fisherman's hangout, so it isn't fancy but it supper fresh fish and really nice staff. Fish is cooked just right, and the fries are yummy. It is a great place to have a casual lunch.
Nice taco joint that goes well beyond tacos. Had a Christmas theme painted over its windows when we dropped in. Indoor and outdoor seating and overall atmosphere great for kids. Its food is adult and kid friendly!
We love coming to Sportsmen’s every time we visit San Diego. We used to come at least once a week when we lived here. You cannot go wrong with any item on the menu! The staff are so genuine, and the venue is perfect for being right on the bay with the boats and docks. Love it here! Highly recommend
A hop and skip away from the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay. Great little place for large pieces of fish and chips. The chips were crispy and tender which can be substituted with a salad or rice. They also have fried clams and calamari as well as fish dinners, tacos and turf sandwiches. Give the chowde
Had the Ahi and the Shrimp tacos. Both were FANTASTIC. The server was just as great. Sitting on the patio waterside made it all even better. Highly recommend.
I eat here regularly, for the past couple years, since I work across the street, and it’s super tasty, fast, and affordable. Bout time I review it! 👌 👍 My favs are the ahi taco and shrimp taco! Friendly service every time. Plus epic bay views for sunsets! Thanks staff and management. 5 Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐
The grilled ahi tacos were SO GOOD, I ate them twice on our trip. Hubs had the seafood platter, and it was great! Our 9 year-old devoured the cheeseburger! The only negative was the coleslaw. Hubs loves coleslaw, but he barely touched it after initial taste. Would definitely return here!
I have been eating at Sportsmen’s seafood for 50 years. It has always been good and seems like that will not change in the future.
If I could I would give them 3.5 starts but I had to round up. Wife and I got the seafood platter and a large bowl of chowder. Originally we got really excited because the sign "Best Fish N Chips in Town" sold us. Let me start by saying the tar tar sauce was the best I've had at any shop. Tasted lik
