Coaster Saloon

Came in on for Sunday night football got to try out a few of their game day specials on food and drinks and let me tell you ! I was not disappointed Hailey behind the bar just made the experience even better will definitely be coming back. Food was delicious, atmosphere was perfect, customer service excellent.

The coaster Saloon year after year is still my go to! Sports always playing.. music is always good. I've been coming here for over 15 years and the bbq is no joke!! Family and kid friendly with no smoke! Ask them for their bloody mary topper as a side dish for A quick snack during a good evening skate session. It's a perfect lift you up to keep pushing down the boardwalk!

Located across the street from the Mission Beach roller coaster. We ordered the party of two tray, Brisket, Smoked Pulled Pork, and BBQ Chicken, WOW the brisket was simply amazing, the brisket and pork was super tender and soooooo tasty, the fat on the brisket melts in your mouth like butter, the spicy bbq sauce was our favorite. New to San Diego, been in San Diego for a short a long time, or all your life? You have to try it! You’ll love the he food! 10/27/23 Just ate here again, again did not disappoint, we had the brisket sandwich and the Prime Brisket platter. So freaking good. Personally am not a MacNCheese guy but their Mac N Cheese is sooo good. Must stop is your visiting San Diego.

We had a wonderful waitress, who was nice and happy, and very attentive to our needs. The food was quickly prepped and brought to us. The atmosphere is amazing, the workers all are smiling and happy. And even let us keep a couple of cups as souvenirs! Definitely recommend coming here for a delicious bite to eat. The food is beyond amazing! Thank you guys for a wonderful lunch!

Angie was our server and she was phenomenal! The food was absolute delicious and the beers and shots were great. We even came back later that same night and sat at the bar, where Kuba gave great recommendations for local beers and new liquors to try. He even helped charge our phones. The staff took excellent care of us and I'll be telling everyone I know to make sure and stop by next time they're in San Diego! 10/10

My husband and I were so hungry and couldn’t agree on where to eat. We walked by, they weren’t too busy so we said let’s do this!! So glad we did. Excellent BBQ perfect for 2. I loved the macaroni and cheese! My husband loved their baked beans in the brisket was bomb 💣 highly recommend. Prices were reasonable especially for the area!!

Outstanding food, excellent service, adorable decor. This place is legit. Our server Josh was amazing! So friendly with great suggestions. We got our food fast, and EVERYTHING was great! Maybe the best 'chicken tenders' I've ever had. Same with the tri tip. 100% will come here again next time I'm in Mission Beach!
