Love this joint. It was the last place I took my mom just as the pandemic was hitting, and we still go there. Has a homey feel and very tasty food - we always go for the Irish pub fair. Excellent patio, good (and interesting) cocktails, very nice service. Highly recommend the Irish soda bread with any appropriate meal. Oh, and it seems like they value their staff, even closing on non-standard holidays like Mother's Day. How nice is that?

Just about everything is made from scratch and in house. I can personally vouch for the Guinness stew, Fish & Chips, fresh baked soda bread and of course the bread pudding! The person next to me got a custom grilled cheese with tomato and mushroom and I have to say it was the best looking grilled cheese I've ever seen. There are also 18 taps, a full bar and a plethora of bottled and canned beer options.

Fun venue with extensive menu that should please most people. Irish food. American and German foods. Great beers and reasonable pricing. Larger, sharable portions on many items. Beet salad was fantastic. Indoor and outdoor with activities.

This place is so amazing. The food in excellent! So many yummy things to try. We had the fish and chips. Soooo flavorful! And the pastrami sandwich. Perfection!

Be Happy!! I went on a Sunday morning and had to try "The Happy". B&G fans beware. Your gonna finish this large plate and set aside a little nap time it's that good!! D is your bartender with a smile. Magnificent food you will enjoy... See ya there! Nap time

I had the pub burger with tots, and it was quite delicious! I also had the first full of gummies sour, that too was quite yummy if you like sours.

We will definitely come again on our next visit to San Diego. Bartender D and the rest of the staff were awesome. Met some great locals and had good laughs and conversations. The atmosphere is very welcoming. Highly recommend this place. Thanks for a wonderful time

Dan Diego’s will be my regular spot when I’m in town visiting my son. This take on shepherd’s pie was warm, hearty and delicious. Their rotating beer selection was excellent and I took the recommendation of our server and had the witbier - a great pairing.
