A real cozy place for lunch. First time here and really enjoyed a delicious carne asada burrito. Really good sized with guacamole and salsa fresca inside. The house margarita along with chips and their home made salsa. Very comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. Just go! ALSO, they are a SURFRIDER Foundation Ocean Friendly Restaurant!!! Went back today with a friend for lunch and had another amazing meal! Update- still love it and highly recommend it!

Came back to my beautiful little neighborhood and it's best restaurant, Ponce's. Been eating there since I can remember. It's as good now as it was then. The staff is professional and friendly. The food is FANTASTIC. This is the place I dream of when I want delicious Mexican food. Thank you to the hardworking family and staff that keep this the best restaurant in my heart and soul!

Busy little restaurant, with a huge selection of tequila to choose from! The food was made pretty quickly, considering we had a dinner party of 10. I HIGHLY recommend the Desert Pear Margarita, best margarita I've ever had!

Was fortunate enough to come here last night with a couple friends who are local to the area and big fans. I now can see why! Despite it being a Tuesday evening, we were sat immediately and quickly, but kindly, given menus and beverages. Yea, we went water, but felt no judgement at that. Nor did they judge my pronunciation of pollo asada! The place is immaculate inside, very fun energy, though not so loud that we couldn’t talk. The food? WOW! As a lifelong Southern Californian, save for a few East Coast years and some other work-related travel, I’ve been fortunate to eat lots of delicious Mexican food. I’ve even reviewed some of the other places! Thing is, and I only finished one taco completely there due to talking a lot to my fam so grain of salt sure, this place made a real impression! Shucks, I’m literally eating my leftovers now and it puts even my beloved and reliable Del Taco to shame. I’ll be back, hopefully real soon! Highly recommend and can’t wait to try more delicious options. I can see why I was taken here. Worth the walk and even if you have to wait, as I heard does happen from time to time, def gonna be worth the wait!

I got the ultimate burrito. The chicken was super tasty. Super moist, seasoned the Mexican way it should be. It was an okay size. The burrito is long but just barely stuffed. The ultimate says it comes with beans. There was hardly any beans. I would've gotten beans on the side or extra beans if I knew just how little they put in. Something wasn't strained so it was really soupy. Which made the burrito get very soggy. I loved the wet burrito sauce. It was delicious. Extra to ask for cheese on the top to make it like enchilada style. The picture looks bigger than it is. It was my first time there. The staff was okay. Nothing to rave about. When we ate they never came back around to ask how it was or if we needed anything. We were going to order a side of sour cream. I would come back. But there are a bunch of Mexican restaurants on my list. Excellent chicken flavor. You can tell they used a bay leaf. Yeah

Good food, good service! Was served chips and salsa. The salsa had a little bit of heat in it! My lips were tingling from it. Lol. It was great! Ordered the beef burrito with sides of hefty portions of rice and beans! Had enough leftovers for another meal. That's what I'm talking about! I cannot say enough about the service. My server frequently came by to check on me to see if everything was ok. I really like that about a server. Gave the server a good tip.

Portions were great for the value. Waitresses were very friendly and staff was very quick and efficient on getting orders out, despite being busy. Flavors were great, their salsas taste were spot on. A little more citrus and it would all be perfect. I'd definitely come back for more.
