Definitely a 5-star food dinner experience for me! Food is authentic, delicious. I’m from the city area and do love Mexican food and dine a lot in Mexican restaurants. But I’ve never had a burrito that is so well done: very thin tortilla wrap, with juicy food well wrapped in. The seafood cocktail is well seasoned and loaded too. I have to say comparing with their burrito, the ones I had before are so dry and the wrap were usually double the thickness. I told my husband I feel like someone who’s been eating fast food dry burgers finally got a taste of a real, juicy burger in a good place lol

The fish tacos are amazing, way better than across the street

Found this little restaurant a couple weeks ago, and have been back twice since! They’ve been consistent. We tried different tacos, mariscos, and burritos. All were delicious. Service is friendly, place is clean, and the salsa is good. Parking is tough-but it’s worth it.

Awesome location. Lovely family. So many items that are good on the menu and so many options to choose from. Their ceviche was beautifully done and delicious (I normally never like this dish). Their seafood tacos are a must. Looking forward to taking my family next time. Shout out to Gregory!

Excellent fresh seafood tacos, lengua like I love it! California burrito the best. Condiments in abundance with all spice preferences. Brandon very helpful with detailed recommendations. I’ll be back!

The burrito is pretty good. I like how the burrito is cut in half. The Alpastor burrito has red oil that drips out making it a bit messy though

Great food and service. The owner is sincere and off to a great start with a family business. I recommend the appetizer soup with a single shrimp on a chilly day in pacific beach.
After the warm appetizer the ceviche is tasty and filled with shrimp 🦐
I also ate the Al Pastor tacos until I couldn’t eat anymore. The Tamarind drink has 140 calories but it is super tasty.
I met the owner and his family when i visited the shop and they are great San Diego people.

The DEFINITION of Mexican comfort food. We so appreciated the kind and friendly employee behind the counter; she was so warm and sweet. The food is simple yet so so effective. Pair it with their amazing salsas, an ice cold Jarritos, and wow. You have got a winner!

Typical shop with plenty of options. I had the carne asada & carnitas tacos. The steak was good but I was a little let down with the carnitas. It was seasoned differently vs what I’m used to. So far, I haven’t had the type of carnitas taco like they do them in NYC. I guess Cali does it different? $5 tacos. The burritos seem to be a hit as well.

Great food. Recommend fish taco and the California burrito. Only suggestions would to get the fries a little bit crispier (they were a tad soggy) and then provide a hotter/spicier salsa option
