Just came for a Vegan snack. This was the third stop of my S.D. Vegan food tour. I had the House Brussel Sprouts and Vegan Karaage Chicken. The Brussel Sprouts were served on top of a crispy noodle and was delicious. The presentation of the chicken was awful but it tasted OK. Service was good too.

Very fast and Friendly service. Cool location in the gaslight district. We enjoyed everything they prepared for us. Atmosphere was quality by far. You can come here and eat good. And! Not too spendy 🤑. 10/10 it’s good

I like the stateside crazy sushi rolls and this place has a lot of great one to chose from. You order first at the front counter and pay then you grab a seat. A lot of great craft beers on tap and they have a bunch of craft beers in cans in the fridge to chose from too. Really cool place to grab a roll and a beer won’t disappoint.

My wife and I ordered a couple of bento boxes and some drinks while visiting Comic-con Special Edition. We love the flavor, from the chicken teriyaki to the rice and rolls. Service was excellent too. We will come back when in the area. We also like the outdoor dinning option

Very slow to sit for no clear reason and made us choose all food and lay before sitting down. Sushi was good but not great. Miso soup and tempura were super tasty. Very cheap prices. Service was friendly but disorganized.

I grew up in San Diego going to Sushi Deli and could not wait to take my wife here while we were on vacation. First of all, the value is incredible. The price you pay for the amount and quality of food is amazing. We live in Boise, Idaho where sushi is expensive and still mediocre and Sushi Deli was every bit as good as I remember. I hadn't been here in over 10 years and we will be making it a priority every time we're back in town. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

They do appear to have raised the prices on their happy hour fairly recently, only $1 more per item, but good to know. $14 for 3 rolls is pretty good. I'm still confused by lettuce in a spicy tuna roll, but everything tasted fresh and tasty. Service was good.

Cannot be beat! For the price of their happy hour, the quality and portions are exceptional! It is NOT the place for High Brow sushi. If you are hankering for some sushi but don’t want to sell your kidney, check this place out and tell’em #OuttaTownTony sent you! Finding all the best affordable eats.

Nice, casual sushi place. Tasty dishes. However, if you're a sushi aficionado, then, this place is probably not the best choice. Great prices & generous portions.

I am from out of town and decided to eat at Sushi 2 just by chance as I was walking through the downtown area. I was incredibly impressed! The staff was very friendly, the food was phenomenal, and the prices were so reasonable! It's very hard to find sushi of this quality for this affordable. The staff also did a great job of taking precautionary measures related to Coronavirus to keep the staff and customers safe. I hope to come back to eat here soon!
