Came here to watch my nephew's jazz band play. Great set up. Talent was very good.
Ordered the grilled cheese. It comes with onions. And the tomato soup. Both were delicious. Had the sangria from the bar.
Dog friendly outside. Rolo loved the entertainment too!

Rain was expected so tables had been moved under cover and heaters were available. The order line was short, and our food was served promptly and was delicious. We shared a grilled cheese sandwich, a cup of sweet potato and carrot, bisque soup, french fries, and a small salad.

Great place in Balboa Park to get a beverage or two. And if you are hungry their food is also delicious.

The line was 20 mins but other than that everything was timely and delicious. Staff was pleasant and the vibes were great. Cant beat eating outside in December.

Very interesting place. You eat outside in a court yard. I had the soba noodles with edamame, mushrooms, bok choy and falafel. We also ordered the chat aloo with chutney. The potatos had this nice sweet flavor and the chick peas were nice and crunchy. My husband had pulled pork and enjoyed it. Staff were friendly and helpful. It got chilly so they turned on heaters which was nice.

Surprisingly good food. Fast, friendly service and the outdoor tables give a great view of the park. I had the pulled pork sandwich. While I didn't care for the Dijon on it, it was still pretty good. The fries were delicious. My son got a kids grilled cheese and he said it was also very good.

Great spot for food and a drink at the center of Balboa Park. Can get pretty busy but if you are able to catch this place without such a long wait, then it’s definitely worth it. Best option for me is the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Not much of a grilled cheese person, but this place does it right. Also, very scenic for both a date and just regular family time. 🤩

The food is great. I love that there are lots of healthy options on the menu in addition to the standard American staples. It is particularly nice that the restaurant is not overpriced for it's location and that the crew is low key and unpretentious. This is an awesome spot to kick back with friends and family or to take a date to. Another bonus is that some days of the week you'll find live music here.
