Puerto La Boca is our go-to Argentinian steakhouse. The Entraña steak with papas fritas is where it’s at. The staff is always so kind. Highly, highly recommend!

Puerto La Boca is a very tasty Argentinian restaurant located in Little Italy. The restaurant has a nice bar area where you can wait if a table isn't open. There is indoor and patio seating available. We made a reservation and went for dinner. The hospitality is amazing. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and well-versed with what to order on the menu. Our table was a little wobbly so our waiter immediately fixed it with us making a request. The provoleta was fantastic. The cheese and tomato complimented one another perfectly. I could have eaten this and walked away happy. The corn and cheese empanada was awfully good as well. I never had this combo in an empanada before but I was surprised with how much I like it. The churrasco was cooked perfectly. I ordered it medium rare and it was fantastic. The flavors were great and adding chimichurri made the flavor even better. The Argentinian fries were good as well but you must like garlic. If you don't I would avoid them at all costs. The people I were with ordered the pasta dishes and raved about them. The pasta is made fresh daily and you could tell. Parking could be an issue. We didn't drive but I didn't see much readily available. Expect to spend $30-$50 per person depending on how aggressive you get. We ordered lots of appetizers and dessert as well. I will definitely return to this place the next time I visit San Diego.

A work buddy and I stopped to look at the menu and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. It could not have been any better. I had bread and chimichurry and Spaghetti and added a chicken breast. All the people working here appeared to be Argentinian’s and they made you feel like they really appreciated you choosing to eat at their restaurant. I don’t see that much. From where I was sitting I could see the chefs preparing the meals and they seemed to be really enjoying it. There were two guys playing and singing easy listening music and at a perfect volume so you could still hear people talking. This is how a dining experience should be. Keep up the good work guys!

Probably, actually no definitely our best dinner in Little Italy during our stay. Amazing service from a really lovely waiter, just sorry we didn't get his name. 3 of us had steak all cooked amazingly well with lovely sauce. Another in our party had pasta which was also excellent. Great wine and not bad prices for Little Italy
