We love this place and make sure to visit every time we visit San Diego. Fish Tacos are huge, hot and delicious. Drinks on Happy Hour are priced well, and the view from the upper patio is wonderful. We have tried many of their seafood items including all of their fish and seafood taco varieties, fried Clams, Calamari, shrimp, etc. We love the variety on the menu as well. The pulled pork nachos are yummy and the burgers are good too. Over the years they have changed their format, but we still continue to come here as it is a great value and great food with a great view.
OMG this place is happening!! We’ve been living in San Diego County for 17 years now and we every time we come to Ocean Beach this place is always packed and happening!! I saw an episode of Food Paradise on the Cooking Channel and I told my husband we need to go!! So finally we went!! OMG the Mahi Mahi Taco is the best and so is the Baja Taco!! Yum yum!! Now if you go make sure to order the fishbowl size Margaritas!!! If I would’ve known that I would’ve ordered one but I didn’t have a drink menu where we were sitting at!! Now where to sit, please make sure to sit outside facing the ocean or the street!! Awesome place to sit if you like to people watch!! I totally recommend this place!! We will be coming back again!!! And for sure I’ll be having one those fishbowl Margaritas!!!! 🍹💃🏻

We were there in 2015. Had a wonderful meal! The best fried mushrooms and fish tacos. Reading other review's guess to many people found out about this great beach bar. We will go back next time in Cal!
Busy and casual bar with the most amazing sunset views. You’ll feel like you are in the middle of everything Ocean Beach has to offer, surfing, fishing, family walks, and dogs. Such a great place to sit and take in the view on the second floor balcony. The food is really delicious and the portions are huge. I loved the seared ahi salad. Other friends tried the mussels, lobster tacos, the short ribs nachos. Overall a great place to hang out and drink a beer 🍺 with friends!
Really nice restaurant with beach front view. We watched the sunset and the waves from the outdoor seating area and it was awesome. Very chill vibe and friendly service.
Taco Tuesday’s deals are really worth it! Order the fish tacos and it won’t disappoint.
First time going here as I traveled through. Amazing fish tacos and good beer. So awesome to stop and have a zen moment. Location is amazing. Great place to watch a sunset and friendly locals. Amazing vibe!

Taco Tuesday! This restaurant has 2 floors and outside seating on the 2nd. The view is spectacular as it overlooks the beach and pier. That paired with a beer alone is a wonderful time; top that with some tacos and you have a night of satisfaction. There are a variety of tacos and I recommend the seafood options as the restaurant is famous for their fish tacos. The price will vary with whichever taco you decide to get but every penny is worth it. I had the Mahi Mahi which was pan seared to perfection. It retained its shape but delicate as you take a bite into it. The Shrimp taco was cooked carefully and not overdone. It was not chewy in any way but had the nice bite of fresh shrimp. The Fried Cod taco was battered well and did not over encompass that of the cod itself. They provided a great balance of batter and fish. The sauce on these tacos added that level of depth and consistency to the each dish and really brought the flavors together. Not one taco was dry or lacking in toppings nor did the toppings overwhelm the main ingredients which was the fish. Overall a great experience especially with the friendly staff that knows everything about that menu. Can’t wait ‘til next Tuesday!
This a good bar and grill. Open seating with lots upstairs / outside. Great views of the beach and surfers. Check out the specials each night, really value for money. Service is fine, staff are helpful and will help even if you aren't "their" customer.
Went there twice. Got almost all available tacos.
All tacos we tried were tasty and nicely prepared. Would absolutely recommend the shrimp tacos.

During our visit to Ocean Beach, we stumbled upon this restaurant right by the ocean. It turned out it was a buck a shuck Friday! The oysters were delicious and meaty, so good! You also can’t beat that price tag! We also ordered the ceviche and the portion was huge!
Nice beach restaurant that primarily serves tacos and fish dishes. From the second floor you get a great view of the ocean and Ocean Beach pier. The fish and chips and the fried calamari are really good. I had the grilled Ahi which was really good along with carnitas street tacos. The carnie asada tacos were a bit overcooked and too many onions. The restaurant gets really loud as people are having fun and drinking so not great if you just want to chat. Overall fun beach bar, amazing views, and good fried fish and tacos.
Really can't beat a better view for lunch! Loved their chips and guacamole, chips tasted fresh made and were salted just right with good chunks of not over ripped avocado. Enjoyed a nicely balanced Bloody Mary with a nice little garnish of olives, pickle, and cheese as well as the go to celery stick. I got the 2 fish tacos, which were perfectly crisp and loaded with all the tasty fixings to make each bite good.
The wait staff were great at checking in, getting refills, and clearing, all with beautiful friendly smiles.
Can't wait to go back.
