Place lacks a bit in uniqueness. Just an old pub. Burgers were good. Nothing fancy, just an old classic American cheeseburger. Beer choice was great!

Consistently the best burger in San Diego. 25 minutes from order to first bite. It's always worth the wait.

Rocky’s exceeded my expectations! I have heard about their burgers from many friends throughout the years. It looks super dive from the outside but it’s actually really clean and nice inside. Cool spot, friendly staff, and the most homemade tasting burger I’ve had in PB. Highly recommend. The hype is real!

Best burgers in San Diego. But you probably already knew that. If you didn't, then consider yourself notified. If you did, then consider yourself reminded. Bring your credit card. You'll need it to get cash from the atm because they don't take plastic. Even if you beg.

The food here was great. We got the 1/3 lbs cheese burger, the 1/2 lbs cheeseburger, and an order of fries. The burgers were delicious and there was plenty of fries to share. We also got some beers. They don’t have too many options but we still found a good drink. The inside was full when we went so we sat outside and we still received great service. This is a cash only business so make sure to bring cash with you! I highly recommend this restaurant for a yummy burger and place to meet up with friends.

Great burger. Rocky's pub is a cool spot with a casual vibe. Burgers were great and very flavorful, definitelyderserving of the hype. The thin sliced red onion went very well on it. The basket of fries is a great shareable size. They are cash only, but there is an ATM on site. It is not a big place so if you come during a busy time be prepared to wait to snag a spot. It is a bar and first come first served.

Oh my goodness, where do I even start about Rocky's Crown Pub in San Diego? This place is a burger lover's paradise! I went there last Thursday around 6 PM, and the vibe was just perfect for a laid-back evening. The staff greeted us with such warmth; it felt like walking into a friend's house.First things first, the burgers. I ordered their famous Rocky Burger, and let me tell you, it's called the best burger in San Diego for a reason. The beef patty was juicy and cooked to perfection, and the bun, oh, it was so fresh and soft. They didn't skimp on the toppings either. Fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and just the right amount of sauce. Every bite was a delightful mix of flavors and textures. What really stood out was their attention to customer service. Our server, Jake, was super friendly and had great recommendations. He suggested trying their seasoned fries, and I'm so glad I did. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. The ambiance of Rocky's is just as amazing as their food. The outdoor seating area had a cozy feel with its string lights, and the indoor area had a classic pub vibe, full of energy and friendly faces. It's the kind of place where you can relax, have a great meal, and just enjoy the moment. And the best part? The prices are so reasonable for the quality you get. It's not just a meal; it's an experience. Rocky's Crown Pub is definitely a must-visit spot in San Diego. Can't wait to go back!

Must go! Very good burgers and from what I heard renovated fries which were amazing! Atmosphere lacks of identity too many things old and new… cash only place consider that a great strategy but as a client bad. I think price quality ratio is very good and that’s why people always keep going thanks! Pura vida for more follow me on Instagram at @insecto

Excellent juicy juicy burger! Service is good but I would not say overly friendly but it doesn't matter. They get my burger and cold beer and that is what I am there for. They have people waiting so not a lot of chit chat time for them which I understand. It is worth the wait...just be patient.

If you're looking for arguably the best burger in San Diego, look no further than Rocky's Crown Pub. The burger here is the epitome of a classic – delicious, juicy, and undoubtedly satisfying. The pub boasts an enticing happy hour during the week, offering deals that are hard to resist. You can enjoy a scrumptious burger paired with some of the best fries you'll ever taste and a refreshing beer, all at a discounted price. And speaking of the fries, they stand out on their own merit – crisp, flavorful, and the perfect companion to that burger. A few things to note for first-timers: The pub operates within a cozy space, but they've expanded to offer outdoor seating. Be prepared to show your ID – this isn't a place for the kids. Seating operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so try to time your visit strategically, especially since it can get crowded during happy hour and on game days. Service is versatile; you can either order at the bar or wait for a staff member to approach you at your seat. One key detail to remember is that Rocky's is a cash-only establishment, but they've got you covered with an on-site ATM. I wholeheartedly recommend Rocky's Crown Pub. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's a taste of San Diego you won't want to miss.
