Absolutely love this place. The food is fantastic every time, and this visit we had the good fortune to sit at the bar and be served by Cheyenne. She makes a mean drink and is witty and fun to talk to, everything you could want out of a bartender. Don't miss the burrata caprese for your appetizer!
I've been coming here for many years now and it's absolutely my favorite Italian restaurant in San Diego. Service is always excellent. I've explored the menu quite a bit and have never had anything I didn't absolutely love, and end up ordering again! If I had to pick a favorite dish, it would probab
Annalisa provided excellent service. The wait staff made sure we were taken care of all night. Loved being outside eating and enjoying the Gaslamp quarter with great food. We enjoyed the squash blossoms as an appetizer and ordered the spaghetti with lobster/mussels and beef/truffle risotto plate tha
I’m almost positive this is where I ate last week (07/20/23) but I was super duper high and I can’t be 100% sure but the GPS location on my pics puts me roughly here so I’ll have to trust it’s right (and I can’t find my receipt)
First off there’s a good chance I ate like two whole baskets of bread
This old school Italian restaurant was a great choice for dinner before a show at the Balboa Theater. Our reservation time was honored and staff was super friendly and on top of everything. The decor could be updated, but the food was well seasoned. They are not afraid of butter, garlic and a lot of
Amazing food, great service especially since we had a large group. They were very accommodating with our kids and we all left very happy. I can't say enough about the short rib special, best Italian meal I've had in awhile!
Came here for dinner. Service is amazing, food was delicious, I just needed to add extra salt. Risotto was not the traditional creamy one, but still good. Tiramisu and Limoncello cake were absolutely delicious 😋
In town for a conference. Being of sicilian descent, first generation, the menu reminded me of my childhood. It was a busy night, so difficult to have a conversation, tables close to each other. Servers were working hard and appreciate all the orders were accurate, but they didn't refill waters, wh
Me and my sister enjoyed your dinner and drink at the bar, it was lovely sweetest bartender. I ordered the lobster ravioli ,totally delicious must have if you love seafood. The service is pretty quick and the atmosphere is very mellow .
Had a really wonderful dinner here the other night. They have an extensive wine selection and multiple delicious appetizers and very filling and beautifully presented mains. I had the risotto with the crab and shrimp which was a special. The shrimp were large and tender. They were delicious!
Food was good and service was amazing! The bread was fresh and warm, and it’s served with packaged butter. If you like your bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, just ask! Salad was good, but Cavatelli was amazing!! The prawns were cooked perfectly and the sauce was perfectly creamy and flavorf
Sooo delicious! The service was impeccable! It was crazy busy and EVERYONE WAS SO NICE and delivered the best service. From the Bartender to the Bus Boys, everyone was just so pleasant and delivered the best! We had the lamb chops and their special of the night which was a Fettuccine with a vodk
Went here for a company dinner. They provided a customized menu for our company. Everything served smelled great. I was fortunate to have coworkers who love to share, so I got a taste of almost everything. The gnocchi, chicken Parmigiano, and bistecca were very rich and tasty. The tiramisu was also
What an amazing experience in the Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego. Not only is it close to everything, it's in a very bustling area with tons of other restaurants and things to do.
Amazing service, great food, attention to detail and truly the best ingredients with this menu. Definitely pricier than s
I saw a review saying that they had vegan options, so I decided to give this place a try. I arrived at the restaurant and asked the hostess if there were any vegan options, and she was quick to list all the items that could be made vegan upon request. Every time I asked if an item was vegan, the wai
The service was good. The food was very good. The tiramisu.... best I've had anywhere in the world. And I've traveled quite a bit. Will have to come back before this little secret goes wild. And the bartender does a great job too!
A friend told us about this place so when we were out in San Diego my husband made sure we stopped here to eat before heading back home he knows I love Pasta and let me tell you it did not disappoint at all! Everything was so good I forgot to take pictures of the desert. We legit got one of everythi
OP is a restaurant that I always visit when I am in San Diego. It is the oldest Italian restaurant in the Gaslamp quarter, and it never disappoints. The Cioppino, ossobucco(recommended by the Tuscan waitress) and the seafood linguine are delicious. Long Live to OP. I look forward to my next visit.
