Very high quality seafood restaurant. Service is impeccable. The food is perfectly prepared and delicious. For example, we had the mussels starter, and there was not a single empty shell on the plate -- and I was sorely tempted to consume all the broth that was left. Well worth the pricing!
Classy joint in the heart of downtown. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great menu. I had the New York steak, which was very tasty. My wife was very satisfied with her “Beef n’ Reef, meal. Our friends both had fish, which they reported was very good. The waitress era very efficient but not overly person
I haven’t been here yet for dinner, but I hope I have time while I’m in town. I did however really enjoy myself during happy hour for some delicious oysters and fresh local beer. The bartender Alexandra was fun and chatty even though she was also busy training a new bartender. The atmosphere is clas
Upmarket seafood in Gaslamp. Great HHour 5-7 with $1 oysters and other specials like shrimp scampi and mussels. Also good prices on well cocktails and house wine. Fun to hang out at the raw bar - it’s fairly small so can get crowded. Meals at dinner are on the pricey side $40ish but very well done.
The lobster bisque and artisan freshly baked bread were 😋 DELICIOUS. Loved the elegant, upscale yet relaxed vibe and the very warm welcome and customer service. My friends and I stopped in from the very loud and bustling activity just outside the front door in San Diego's Gas Lamp District. The big
Phenomenal! Attentive service and amazing food, right in the heart of the Gaslamp. We had the scallops and the lobster risotto and both were outstanding!
Love their happy hour $1 oysters they are do good
The food was quite excellent. The wine was unremarkable - a very common supermarket wine at 3 x the price. Why can't restaurants bring you something a little different? Then you'd feel it was worth paying the premium. The service was fragmented: I think 5 people altogether turned up at my table at v
Heartwarming welcome. Excellent service from Amanda. We had a dry martini to accompany our meal and it was really excellent. We were served an appetizer with our Martini. The tuna was really sublime but a little too salty and the fish was too dry. We did not eat it all. A nice place to eat seafood.
Best meal I've ever had!! I've never been a fish lover, but after moving to San Diego from Chicago I made it my goal to give fish and sea food another chance. I came to Blue Point because of their extensive gluten free offerings. My first course was the lobster bisque. This was definitely the best s
Great seafood. Go here. Phil was an excellent server. I had ahi tuna with sesame, it was perfect. Served with a ginger salad, perfect. The fried lemon shrimp was not so flavorful, but that was easy to overlook given the fantastic service. Had lobster bisque to start, 10/10. My wife had surf (half
Five stars even though this isn't my jam. The good, wait staff are amazing. I ordered the NY strip - cooked exactly how I like it. Food was really good. Why it is not my jam: Not a big fan of their cocktails. They didn't seem to have much of a selection. They are located in the gas lamp distr
This was not just a wonderful dinner but a true dining experience! Our waiter, David, was phenomenal and met our every request, which is no small feat with five strong minded ladies. Every course was made to perfection and I can honestly say the lobster risotto, lobster bisque, mushroom ravioli, and
Fresh seafood, great presentation, good location in the gas lamp.
My circumstances were quite complex but the managers worked with me so that I was able to acquire the food to take to my mom who has dementia. The food was delicious and everyone went beyond what was expected. Great customer service.. Though Saturday night is a usual for most I would rather go on a
