Isola Pizza Bar

Thanks to the review from “pumpkin pie”, we decided to try this place! My wife and I both love fresh Burrata cheese (and Italian wine) so the family owned vineyard and ball of cheese in the middle of Italian pizza piqued our interest. Enough to go back a second time during our short stay in the city. You’ll need to ask for the Burrata cheese ball as most of the pizza does not list it on the menu. It’s a $5 add-on that’s well worth it! We preferred the spicy salami pizza over the sausage version, but both were 5 star pizzas. Oh, and did I mention the wine? 😁

Was looking for REAL Napoli pizza at the and heard this place flys in ingredients from Napoli so here we go. Service: was excellent, very friendly and although only a few pastas are listed they can mix it up and make up just about anything. Very helpful in deciding what to eat. Atmosphere: Lovely, indoor or outdoor seating. Nice ambiance Food: Pasta of the day- sausage and mushroom in pink sauce. Delicious. Sausage pizza with a big burrata cheese ball in the middle (suggested by the waitress) innncreeedddiiibllee🤯 I will never do pizza any other way again! What have we been doing ordering Dominos! 😂 Affogato: I hate coffee but this was delicious, couple of ice cream with whipped cream and an espresso dumped on top. Heaven We will be back🙌

Where do I even begin. First, this isn’t your everyday pizza bar. Second, this place feels so authentic! From the staff to the food. Everything was legit amazing!!! We tried one of every course option to get a taste of everything. And we literally have no complaints. I will be talking about this place forever! Even on my next visit to Italy! Everything was fresh and flavorful! No need for an extra salt or pepper or spice. It was legit the perfect flavors! I highly suggest picking one item from each course option and try a little bit of everything family style you won’t regret it! The wine and aperol spritz were perfect. The staff was so nice and friendly. The ambiance was casual yet romantic. Definitely check this place out. You will not be disappointed.
