Ryan was great in helping me find a beer I could enjoy. Wish you had your Porter or Stout. With all your taps, at least one of the two should be on tap year round.

Ballast Point is a major brewer in the San Diego area and I am so glad my Husband and I had the chance to stop by for a week day beer while we were in Little Italy! They serve by the glass or by flight, great for first timers! The size of the indoor and outdoor space of the building is deceiving upon first look, because it looks like a normal storefront. However, upon walking inside you are met with a large wooden bar that dons a long line of fresh taps behind it and plenty of bar seats. There are many high top tables throughout the large industrial looking indoor space. Upon walking out onto their outdoor patio, there are 3 large, covered VIP areas, each with their own TV that you can actually reserve ahead of time - think 'VIP club' vibes, so cool! Of course I have to praise their beer as well, like I said before it is a major brewer in the area and widely known and sold throughout the US.

I’ve never said no to a Ballast Point beer/meal. Pretzel 🥨 bites w/mustard and cheese are great. I’ve enjoyed both the BBQ burger & now the pulled pork sandwich. I’ll probably stick with the pulled pork sandwich from now on, it was flavorful and crisp. The side salad it comes with practically fills the plate & is light. The truffle fries come with truffle butter that is addicting. Of course you gotta get a flight of beer. My favorites include the Fathom IPA & the watermelon dorado. 🍻

This brewery offers a huge variety of great beer. In little Italy so it may be tough to find parking. The food here is amazing and you cannot go wrong with anything. I personally go for the BBQ burger with truffle fries.

Great little brewery. The space was a great size, and they had lots of indoor and outdoor space. Great size outdoor couches and firepits. I enjoyed the Kimcheseburger and a brew. Great place to meet up with friends.

Plenty of seating here inside and outside on a beautiful day in San Diego. Visiting from out of town and our last stop before the airport. Ballast point brewing has a great atmosphere and the food is phenomenal. Definitely gonna be back again. Pictured is the aloha sculpin, Al pastor chicken sando, and the truffalo wings (EPIC) !!

Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere with tons of seating. Tremendous beers with exceptional flavour (yes, I’m Canadian😊) the variety is really quite good. I really liked the barrel aged beer I got - very rich and delicious. Didn’t get any food but it looked good for sure. Planes flying overhead are cool as well. Stopped by a second time the next day since they had so many beers to try! Ordered the pretzel bites and they were delicious. The beer cheese sauce was so good!

This was a perfect place for a Sunday lunch while being Covid-cautious. We grabbed a menu and went to a table on the mostly-empty patio expansion. My husband ordered everything via his phone, and food and drinks started to come out within all of two minutes. Impressive! I had a farmer’s market salad with added chicken; it was a big salad in terms of greens, but there wasn’t a lot of chicken for the extra $6. The fries were fantastic. My husband’s hamburger was good, too, though it was much slower to come out. We really enjoyed the vantage point along the street on a beautiful day.

Great spot for lunch the atmosphere was very good. The server we had was very nice asking how my special was and explaining how it came to be in the menu. Very good place for a mid day lunch. The ordering experience was a little different but not too hard nor was it too inconvenient. You and to fully order your meal from your phone including payment, then they bring it to your table. We got a flight of beers all of which were very good. They were all 4 oz pours. Overall for a brewpub it was exactly what you would want with higher than average quality of food.
