Breakfast Republic

I definitely like this location more than it's Gaslamp spot. Fast service, perfect food quality and presentation. The pictures speak from themselves. The shrimp and grits that I had was awesome, not the best that I have ever had but definitely up there. Smooth and flavorful grits, not overly seasoned, fresh shrimps and that unforgettable sauce... Yum. We will definitely come back here when I get back in town.

We love this breakfast place! The food was absolutely delicious. The staff there was friendly, attentive and very helpful. The first day we were there, ordering food for a 6 year-old, the staff suggested that they had half share for kids, which was very helpful. We did not waste anyfood! The only warning is that if you plan on going on a weekend, make sure you go there bright and early, or you might have to wait for a bit for the tasty food! Overall, we really loved this place and will go back there next time when we travel here!

My daughter and I had an absolutely delightful experience at Breakfast Republic. During my visit from the East Coast, she immediately suggested that we have brunch at this particular spot. It was a joy to explore the places she frequents, and to my pleasant surprise, her taste in food perfectly suited my palate. I ordered the Chilaquiles, while she opted for the Eggs Benedict, and we also decided to try the Breakfast Burger, which turned out to be incredibly delicious. To top it off, the mimosas added a delightful touch to our meal, leaving us in high spirits. One charming aspect of the experience was that they sell their own souvenirs, and the servers were proudly sporting some of the merchandise available in the store. This added a unique and fun element to our visit. All in all, my visit to Breakfast Republic was a memorable one, and I look forward to returning on my next trip to the West Coast!

This breakfast place is so nice that the food is fresh and the staff is so friendly as well. You would like to arrive earlier cuz when I arrive on 9am there’s already tons of people lining up for the reservation. Fortunately, I’m single traveler so I can sit at bar without waiting. There’s a parking lot nearby and not expensive. I ordered the Jambalaya and the coffee, the Jambalaya is great with shrimp, sausage, tomatoes and three eggs. You might think it’s to heavy for breakfast or brunch but I have to say that you will want more when you finished.

Beautiful place. Stayed completely packed with a line the whole time I was there. Parking is a fairly big challenge. The food was very good. I got the breakfast jambalaya and a pancake. The jambalaya was good but rich and kind of heavy. The pancake was wonderful. The staff was very polite and tried hard but the place was packed so I did not see my server much. A good experience but not for those in a hurry.
