Twiggs Bakery And Cafes

EDIT 6/13: I’ve gone in to Twiggs twice this week, and can say that things have definitely improved! The space is clean, well stocked, the coffee has been excellent each time, and great service. I’m happy to know that the team has made some positive changes! ——— I’m sharing this review in hopes that it will lead to some changes and improvement in adams once beloved twiggs. As a long-time customer that would frequent twiggs 2-3x a week for a cup of coffee and a nice space to work, i am disappointed to see the apparent downgrade in service, quality, and cleanliness. The staff appear quite somber and bothered by people walking through the door. It almost seems as if they are paid more to be unfriendly! The quality of the coffee and cups has also gone down, and the place seemed to be less tidy as time went on. I hope positive energy is restored here and we can be greeted again by friendly faces and a good quality cup of coffee.

This is one of my favorite places to work and hang out. The staff is always pleasant, courtesous, and very friendly. The coffee is good and the baked good/paninis are just what I need when working. It's casual and yet a good working atomosphere. Plus occasional readings in the nextdoor space are a good way to keep track of the lit. scene in town. Great for casuals sit downs, too! Highly recommend!

Had a custom cake made and kind of last minute due to another place not being able to do it. They agreed to do it and come through with flying colors. My husband loved it for his birthday. I will be using them again for my son's birthday. Pictures are of the actual hat and what Twiggs Bakery was able to do.

We got our wedding cake and desserts from here. Communication was fast and responsive and they were so flexible with all the changes I made. We did their cake tasting beforehand and that was super helpful as well. The cake turned out beautifully and there was literally no dessert left at the end of the night, they were gone instantly! We cannot recommend them enough!

We had a great experience with Twiggs - we met with Bernie (before he and Dan sold the business), had a beautiful tasting experience, and reserved our cake and date. We had a seamless transition with the new ownership, and we couldn’t have been happier with the cake at our wedding! We selected Victorian Wedding Cake and Lemon Poppyseed and they were both very moist and flavorful, and a great hit with our guests. The semi-naked look was executed perfectly (floral decoration was added by our florist). There were no issues with the delivery or coordination either, just great professionalism. Highly recommend them for any event cakes!

Super friendly, helpful and patient service... I was feeling so indecisive about what to get and they nailed their recommendation (which I was especially appreciative of since that has not been my experience of late!) Cute, chill little spot. Perfect for working while I wait for my brakes to be done. Drink and danish were absolutely delish! Might have to find out if they have outlets available so I can come back here and work on the reg!

Cakes for any occasion. The first time I tried Twiggs cake was at my friend's birthday. That time we had the White Velvet and I was so impressed by the moisture of the bread and the delicious frosting. (I usually do not like the frosting of most cakes) Ever since I only order cakes from Twiggs for birthdays and or special occasions. I usually use their online system to order the cakes, which is easy to use and they usually get back to me the same day or early next day for details. I've tried the White velvet, Miss hazeltine's, Red Velvet and the delicious German Chocolate. All cakes we have ordered have been on point, so when we did our civil wedding (last minute) we went over to the Adams location to place the order for our small reception and we were not disappointed. This is a picture of the cake (white velvet) for 15 people. (the cake did not included the flowers or cake topper, we ordered those separately) Overall we have never had a problem or inconvenient and we have always been pleased with the service, taste, quality and price.
