Several years ago, my partner and I discovered La Fuente on our initial trip to San Diego. Since then, it has become one of our go-to restaurants, a place we consistently recommend to friends and family. La Fuente stands out with its fantastic staff, reasonable prices, and truly exceptional food. Our favorites include the Surf n' Turf fries and the Surf n' Cali burrito!

Went for $2 Taco Tuesday. We got a carne asada taco, carnitas taco, a birria taco, and La Fuente rolled tacos. Excellent

Much of the food here is fairly average for a place like this. However, two things stand out. 1. They serve all kinds of birria dishes, including birria pizza. 2. Their Michelada's are amazing.

My partner and I started going to La Fuente a few years back, during our first San Diego trip. It's become one of our favorite restaurants, and somewhere we always suggest to friends and family. It's a great spot with an incredible staff, great prices, and unbelievable food. We love the Surf n' Turf fries, and the Surf n' Cali burrito!

Delicious spot with great prices and very fast service! The menu was huge and everything was authentic, nice salsa bar with fresh options. I got the rolled potato tacos and my fiancé got the super burrito, both were delicious. Give this place a try!

Had a couple of the Tuesday Tacos for $2 each along with the smallest fish taco I've ever seen, hence the $1.50 price. Food was very tasty.

4 star for food. The Birria burrito with cheese is ah-mah-ZING! Mexican coke is always a fave. The birria fries were delicious too.
I also scooped a long black hair out of one of the salsa bins. They took the scoop and hair, but I can't say I'm 100% sure they replaced the salsa. That's why I gave a 2 for atmosphere.
3 stars for service because there is none. They take your order. You grab your tray, bus your table, uncap your own bottles w/ their opener. It's like a cafeteria type service.
