We were highly impressed with everything ! Great greeting , table ready . Our waiter was fabulous , sadly I didn't get his name . He was so helpful with our tired little guy ! Food is superb ! Variety of choices on the menu , seafood , beef , pasta , chicken with rosemary , pork chops ... my short ribs were the best I've ever had with roasted Brussels sprouts & house mash potato , Filet mignon served the same ! Fork only needed ! All the food delivered to surrounding tables could be worthy of Food & Wine . A treat to the eyes and palate . We had the chocolate cake & shared , luscious, chocolate with a vanilla scoop of all homemade ice cream with strawberries drizzled with chocolate . Extensive spirits menu ! We'll be back for sure on my next trip here !
Mete was awesome! Tony the owner as always was a gracious host. This is a must go place if you are ever in San Carlos. The food and vibe are the best!
The atmosphere is inviting. Love the prosciutto arugula pizza with their tasty wine selection. Hands down, best service ever and the live music is the icing on the cake. Makes for a very enjoyable evening. Everyone is so friendly!!
Piacere is a fun place where one is able to choses from very fine foods. The quality was great and presentaion was lovely. We loved the music last night Raya Zion and her band were amazing. The selection of the music was upbeat and it call to everyone to dance and have fun.
This is a great place to have dinner and enjoy some live music, good fun and great people working there.

have the best Gnocchi. Whenever I come out to the west coast I have to go for dinner. My mouth is already watering in anticipation of getting Gnocchi when I come out for Christmas.

Parking is limited to street parking. There are a few nearby public parking lots, but these fill up quick, especially on the weekends, so if you are dining with a large group try to carpool. Enjoy your meal.
We are long time customers. We go there almost every weekend for brunch. We like it there because it is open and bright. This gives it a cheerful and happy atmosphere. We like the decor. The food for brunch is excellent. We get the salmon hash, eggs Benedict, and the kids steak. I also really like the French toast. The service is reasonably good, but sometimes slow. We've been to many places for brunch in this area, but time and time again we go back to Piacere because it is still our favorite. We often think that they deserve more business.
(Updated) - At my most recent visit, they had another new menu; super disappointed that they dropped the gluten-free and vegan labels.
Had so many great meals here over the last 20+ years. Consistently high quality food and experience - dinner for 2, family brunch, or business lunch. Sit outside if you get the chance. They are pet friendly too.
The muscles are fantastic! They are served in a sizzling iron skillet. The Peach salad is one of a kind! a signature dish and must have! I had the clam linguine and my friend had the grilled salmon. Both excellent! We were there on a Friday night and there was a great band for after dinner fun! A 5 star experience! I am planning to return next Friday! Thankyou Piacere!

They have an updated menu since I was there over a year ago. The food was lovely. They had a new waiter who knew nothing about the food (had to ask someone else every time we had a question) and seemed to not be comfortable being a waiter. We had to get his attention every time we wanted something (like another glass of wine, dessert, et al). Will likely return. Maybe he'll have learned something by then.
We had Piacere cater a dinner party at our house. It was my first catering experience. The chef planned the menu, brought the prepared ingredients and cooked the food at my home. A server came with the chef to set the table with their table cloth and dinnerware, and serve the food freshly cooked one course at a time, just like at the restaurant. We had amouse bouche , roasted butternut squash soup, grilled eggplant and zucchini, braised short ribs, seared scallops, and roasted ginger crisp apple. The food was most excellent. We were all very happy with it. The service was excellent as well. They even cleaned up the kitchen afterwards. It was a great experience and I will use them for catering again in the future.
