This airport is quite easy to get around. I like the fact that places to eat are nicely distributed in different terminals. Doesn't feel crammed or too busy even on a Friday evening. Looks new and modern at least the 4 terminals I walked around. Hence I would recommend it's okay to have your transits/layovers through this airport.

Its never to crowded at San Francisco International Airport. Its clean and modern, one of the best airports in the world! Most shops and food vendors are open. I like using the Air Train to take me right to terminals 1, 2 or 3. I like the easy access to SFO from BART. I always take the BART and leave my truck at home safe.

Show up early so you can relax when you get inside. Take a look around. This airport has some of the best artwork I've seen at an airport. The airport water is "recycled" and filtered in an environmentally conscious way. There is a wide variety of food, and the lounges has many plug ins for your devices. Don't forget to empty out liquids inside any containers before going through security. The TSA staff and security staff are very pleasant and don't bark orders.

I am ukrainian. And I am very pleased that America is showing its support for Ukraine. The airport is convenient and not as big as in Frankfurt. One day I got lost in Frankfurt at the airport. For several hours I could not find a way out. That's why I'm glad that this airport is not so complicated.I also liked that there are plants in the lobby. It decorates the inner atmosphere. I think is good airport!!!

A well designed airport still in progress for the future. The newly renovated terminal 1 is an incredible design of space and function. It’s not yet connected to other terminals past security but will be in the future. Terminal 2 offers many dining opportunities and has a great lounge with Alaska. Terminal 3 is decent but could be much more. International A and G are both well designed and offer many dining options. The newly constructed Grand Hyatt is accessible on the Airtrain and is one of the best hotels in California. The only real gripe is that there are not many dining and shopping options pre-security.

Would have liked to rate higher based on numerous visits in the past but over these last couple of decades I believe the airport has steadily declined and not kept up with the European and Asian main airports with regards to infrastructure and amenities. eg. June 2022 At bag drop told not to use already checked in electronic boarding cards on phone as the ‘machines’ can’t read them and was given a paper printed boarding card. On positive note some new workbenches and seats with power outlets available and reasonable wi-if available throughout terminal. Although don’t expect to stream video.
