Was craving chicken fried steak. Got there, had to wait 30 minutes, which wasn't bad. Me and my honey got to swing on rocking chairs and act like what we're gonna be like when we're old. Then got called in. Waitress was spectacular. Never let my drink go dry. Then came out my CFS. 😪 tasted awful. My wife enjoyed her steak. Mine was just bad. Never returning to cracker barrel.

I was disappointed for the second time in a row. My daughter asked for raspberry lemonade and our waiter said it was no longer on the menu. A few minutes later a waitress served her customers two of them. When we questioned or waiter he said he believed it was just brought in from another location. My daughter ordered a bacon burger, but it came with a burnt piece of meat (was not beef or bacon) on it. We just assumed the grill was dirty. The waiter commented, "Thats just gross". However they did remove the burger from the bill. We loved eating there before these two incidents.

I came in last night and ordered the pot roast. The first thing I noticed was the abnormally small piece of roast beef i was given. Secondly the piece I did receive was as cold as the ac in the building. The sides tried to help out the plate with the fried okra coming in strong. However the green beans where mushy and greasy with little to no flavor. If it wasn't for the okra and the biscuit before this meal i would have left a single start rating. It will be a while before I consider visiting this location again.

It was wonderful experience for me and my husband. We ordered cracker sampler with sides mashed potatoes, chicken dumplings, sweet ham and fried pork chop with steamed broccoli and whole kernel corn. It was truly a taste of homemade foods. And on top of that, Sabrina our waitress was the best! We felt we were well taken care of. She is such a sweet lady. We will definitely give this restaurant and Sabrina two thumbs up!

We were surprised that the wait time for a table was as sorry as it was. We were told when we arrived the wait time was 50 minutes, we only waited 22 minutes. The food was tasty, served relatively quickly. A last minute changes was handled very well by our waitress. She was timely, accurate with the orders. All the food was as ordered and served cheerfully. Our overall experience was very good.

“I guess we were the wrong color today!” My wife and I were visiting San Antonio and we decided to eat at Cracker Barrel. Well, it was a Sunday and knew it was going to be a wait. We followed Protocol and left our name, number and patiently waited to be seated. I saw a couple pull up (and parked) after us, walk up to check in and 10 minutes later was seated. I walked up the the person checking people in ask asked why was they immediately seated before us. She told me that “she don’t call people in. Someone else does”. At that moment while talking to her another couple whom arrived after us was also called. I asked for the manager and explained my plight. He assured me that I wasn’t being discriminated. At that moment he presented to me the table seating pad and confirmed my complaint. My name was on top and the other people had checked in after I did was seated before me. He couldn’t explain it and gave me some off the wall excuse that they were sitting their car until their name was called but the check in order was apparently showing I clearly checked in before them. I also seen with my own eyes that other people arrived and parked after I checked in after us were in fact seated before us. I notice we were the only black people at this establishment and I assume that we were treated accordingly: a minority.

Visited around 4:30 in the afternoon on a Friday. We were told 30 minutes but it was much longer. We asked about our support in line which was 2rd but after 4 groups in we got frustrated. Food was cold. Baked potato was so cold the butter didn't even melt (3 of us had them). The best thing about the meal was the biscuits and cornbread muffin. Service was just okay. Overall we have had better food and service at this location but it's been a while since we've been here. Will likely pass by another opportunity and choose another nearby restaurant if we go back out to eat in the area.
