Mary Ellen's Bar And Bistro

Normally I don't do a lot of reviews, but when something or someone is outstanding I think they should get recognition. I ordered the California Chicken. It was the best chicken I had eaten since I can remember when. Moist and juicy. Very flavorful! Our waitress Victoria was attentive to our needs without being asked. The staff was smiling and courteous from the moment we entered until we left. Overall an excellent experience!

As always service was impeccable. It was my birthday and a bit crowded so we ordered food to go. The server was great and even put me a birthday dessert in the bag. She didn't even know that I felt special for her to add that surprise and the food is amazing. Bubba has the freshest salad I have ever gotten in a restaurant. My husband and I love the service and food. GREAT PLACE FOR THE FAM!

In their defense, we got there about 45 min to close. Main bar area was the only seating available at the time and it stunk so bad like an old mop or old mop water, we moved inside. Food was cold when we got it, including our queso which was brought out first. Always have a great experience here, so was a little disappointed. But, will return due to courteous staff and their food has always been good not counting this experience.

This was our second time trying Bubba's33 because the first visit a year ago was a complete disaster. This visit went much more smoothly on an over crowded Saturday night. We were seated at a dirty table because busser's couldn't be located. A bartender noticed wothin 10 minutes and came to tell us who our waitress would be and clean up a bit. Our waitress showed up seconds later and tried to take over the clean up and was snapped at by the bartender about trying to take her rags. Yeah, that happened 🙄 The bartender walked away and our embarrassed waitress apologized and took our order. It came out relatively quickly and was perfect. She stayed on top of everything without being invasive at all. She earned a great tip. They're doing something right, it always appears busy. The menu has a good variety, the food was good at a decent price. It is loud so if you're looking for a place to talk over your meal this isn't the place for you but if you are down for sports and drinks with good food and you don't mind having to shout a bit this is a perfect fit.
