Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I really wanted to like this place. I placed my order at 8-ish and had to wait a bit once I arrived at the store roughly 20 minutes later, no big deal. The interaction with the employee who brought out my food was great! The 1 star is for the food. The smoothies tasted like blended up ice with a few pieces of fruit and veggies tossed in. The wrap I ordered looked like a burrito when I unwrapped it however, when I went to pick it up it was cut in half in a weird way and the insides fell out every where. To top it off the $2.99 kale and apple salad was a joke. My search for a good healthy spot continues.

I visit Tropical Smoothie in Schertz where I live often and love the business and the food. But today I visited this location it was very clean, workers were polite, but the service and food was not what I'm used to my food never made it to me I got called for my drink but after 20 minutes I had to ask about my food. It had sat on the back counter. The other business I frequent they call names a few times because of blenders and noise. I listened but nothing. My quesadilla was dry and seemed alittle burnt but I have never had one before so maybe it's the way they should be. I love this business but I think we are in the not my job generation. I think if employees noticed customers and took the time to interact and observe their customers this business could be as great as the one I usually visit. I have worked in food service in my past it's good to see what customers need and make sure they are happy with service and food because without customers there is no business. Anyways hopefully this helps for your next customers experience at this location I hope so because when I left one other customer had sat there just as long as me and he looked just as confused and I do wonder if his food was on that back counter to.

Have been visiting this location very frequently mostly a pleasant experience. However today my order was $42.91. I only had cash on me. I went to pay with a 50..no where is it posted you don't take cash over a 20..food for thought..post it..wasted time waiting in line when I could've went next door where they absolutely would take my money. Will not be returning. The young lady had a smug attitude but the young man did apologize.

With advertising in mind im not sure how a white Styrofoam cup could have ever come to mind. Although as a consumer im extremely grateful for the smart and very hospitable touch. Marketing overall im not sure where the ball was dropped but a burden exists somewhere in the books I promise you between the business name and that styrofoam cup. Many consumers are lured and helpless when endless visions of mouthwatering flavors and the many different colors spelling delicious and NOW are available for viewing both voluntarily or involuntarily. From a distance and even when suffocating from all directions and delivery methods, old school or state of the art without exposure a smoothie aint so smooth for long. Good luck and I hope if im not wrong that this helps bring light to a more successful outcome. I highly recommend to everyone to swing by this joint and enjoy great tastes at great prices anytime they get a chance. Great stuff going on here folks 👍
