Whataburger

I ordered a chicken sandwich with mayo only...no sauce. Of course it shows up with both mayo and sauce. Returned it and Manager asked how I wanted it. I told him mayo only. He said he'd get a new out to me. A few minutes later the new sandwich shows up. Open it up and no mayo...nothing on either bun...just dry buns. This being the second time and order for a simple chicken sandwich still couldn't be made correctly, I requested a refund instead of waiting for another sandwich. My lunch break was now half gone. Original order was $10.70. When the manager tried to return my money to my debit card, he couldn't get it to work correctly. He asked if I would accept cash back and I said yes. He only gave me $8.54 back. Don't know why, but I was pressed for time and I didn't argue. This was a terrible lunch experience. I do not intend to visit this location anymore. Ever since this chain was sold the quality of food and service has definitely suffered. I've probably visited my last Whataburger for a long time. Too many other options for burgers and chicken sandwiches now to depend on an old outdated chain that seems to be in decline. So long Whataburger. You used to be a good place to eat and hangout but not anymore. I doubt anyone will respond to this complaint.

Decided to try whataburger since I haven't had any since moving to San Antonio. That was a mistake I will not make again for the location on Babcock and Prue. As the only customer in line at the drive-through the cashier was rude and clearly didn't want to be there. She even cut me off when asking about condiments. I just kept driving and went elsewhere. Clearly she was having a bad day or maybe that's the level of service that is accustomed at that location. Maybe I'll try whataburger again at a different location and hope for a better experience.

The food's great and staff is super cool but dang man, every time I order a Large meal I get a regular and pay for large lol. I even corrected the worker when handed a medium drink and said, "Oh sorry man but I ordered the whole meal as large" then I get home and medium fries xD idk if there is some large order embargo or what but come on. Other than that, everything else is great.

I tell all of my out of state friends to go to Whataburger and as someone who worked there many years ago I have relatively high expectations. I asked for a patty melt, no onions and a powerade (all medium [aka normal] size) and was even repeated back the order (as well as the receipt also saying "no onions"). Unfortunately I got a patty melt with a good amount of onions. The taste being so strong it's not even edible. I called the location twice and it went to voicemail. If you're looking for a Whataburger to try, this is not the recommended location due to this not being the first time my meal has been incorrect and the feel of lack of care towards customer service if something were to go wrong. Try a different location and don't give up on this southern treat!

It seems like every time I come here they forget something. This whataburger is really close by me which is why I keep returning but I’m just going to find somewhere else to go. I don’t understand why they ask you at the drive thru what condiments you want or what kind of sauce would you like if they always end up not putting it.
