We live in San Diego and visited while
On vacation. This church has an amazing spirit. We were warmly welcomed by all, and we had the chance to learn about their amazing outreach work. A beautiful place to worship, serve, and learn!

This is one of the oldest churches in San Antonio 175 years this year.. There services are so joyful and full cheer and jeer.. I had such an amazing time here at the church. Come by every Sunday to fill your hearts with joy and love.. Peace be with you all..

Such a beautiful and welcoming Church! Nestled in down town but open to all, definitely worth visiting. Everyone we met had such a great and loving personality that we felt right at home. We held a Memorial service there and the staff was such a big help both physically and emotionally for us. We really enjoyed them praying with us and just working with us to hold our event. Love this church and look forward to visiting again!

Travis Methodist Church is gorgeous! The staff at the church were extremely welcoming, walked me through the location, and introduced me to everyone I needed to know. Excited to document another wedding at this beautiful place.

I came here to help out in the Corazon Clinic that they run to help folks in the homeless and underserved community. They have a great set of volunteers that provide a helpful option to just going to the "ER", which I saw much of working as a nurse in several ERs.
As to the other aspects of this church, I cannot comment on as I am not a member of this congregation or of this segment of Christianity. But I applaud them for their service to the community.

I absolutely LOVE this church!! So many ministries to choose from. The homeless outreach programs are plentiful and heartwarming. The building itself is an historical beauty!! The staff and volunteers are amazing. Their mission statement says it all: they truly welcome all people from all walks of life. I couldn't ask for more in a parish!

Historical church downtown.
Tours tell the truth and the whole truth of church history. Beautiful space and property dedicated to helping the homeless and other special populations in their outreach. Georgeous pipe organ....would love to hear

Travis Park Church is a worm and a very welcoming community. The people are very friendly 🙂, easy going, and enjoy themselves in and out of the service. This is a good place to bring your kids, family, and especially your extended family lol 😂 Casual dress code, after service get together I'm not sure about that because I usually have to go right away. There is children's church or a separate group for kids and adults. The church community is very involved with helping others who are in need and do evangelising on the streets. I like this church and do very much so enjoy going there. Bring a friend or two 🙂.

The Spirit of welcome, loving inclusiveness and God's Grace are powerfully alive and active here. Providing comfort, meals, haircuts, hygiene, medical care, I.D. recovery, hope, and love. This is the perfect church, made up of imperfect feet washing brotherly love.

Great service, and the church's commitment to community is lived out well. My only critique is that the folks you see up front don't fully represent the multitudes in the pews. There is a lot of love here and I imagine they're all figuring it out.

I love this church...All are welcome. Corazon Ministries help the homeless with their medical needs, showers, clean clothes, and meals.
They also help migrants. I love being a part of this church.

This is a place for the homeless, as well as a regular Church.
I can understand some of this, but not all of it.
The homeless are fed, provided clothing, get a place to get clean, the whole bit.
Some homeless have issues, and it shows.
But this place tries to address it.

I know this church by volunteering for the asylum seekers that are traveling through San Antonio. we are blessed as a city to have such a church that is so giving to the community on all levels--the homeless, asylum-seekers, spirituality...
