Best tortillas near me and no complaints on the food. 2 bones I gotta pick with them, which is why they get 4 stars versus 5: 1 is that they stop serving breakfast tacos at 11am - really lame. Finally 2: on two occasions when I’ve ordered tacos they have served me a roll of tortillas versus the actual taco I ordered. Please be more cognizant! Didn’t bother calling and complaining - just hoping this feedback gets back to them and they get better.

Place was super busy. I had a hard time finding parking (approx 15-18 spots) So I took this as a good sign as the food must be good. I ordered food inside. There was very little wait. I used the restrooms to wash up after I ordered. By the time I came out my food was ready. Very fast service And my suspicions were confirmed. The food was great. Cashier was polite and friendly with an infectious smile. I will definitely visit again when I'm in San Antonio

Breakfast was 👍🏽 GREAT! Parking lot was full on a Monday, and place was full, but plenty of tables so no wait. Local favorite appently, and everyone in there looked really happy. I would definately recommend it for breakfast at least.

I have been a patron of Anjelica's for about 20 years. They have a Friday special, jueves rancheros with barbacoa, 2 eggs, potatoes and beans for $6.00 and that includes coffee and 2 flour tortillas. It is a lot of breakfast for a good price. The tortillas are homemade and they also have homemade corn tortillas. The food is always hot and fresh and served quickly. There lunch is also really delicious.

Hands Down The Best In The S. Side. This is the best Mexican place to when you visit or live in the South Side. People tend to give too much credit to other restaurants that caters to people by appealing more to the where the business is located and or to the decor of the establishment. Sometimes we loose focus of equates a good Mexican Restaurant. I really appreciate small business owners that stays true to their food and not to the decor. Great job!

Like Mama Used to Make. A wonderful little hole in the wall sort of place. Don't be put off by the tire shop close by or by the general look of the neighborhood. The breakfast fixings at this place are serious. Eggs are perfect here. Beans, pork chops, rice, tortillas, are all excellent. The coffee is hot and the waitresses are very attentive. The coffee is hot and refills come quickly.
