India Chaat House

Great place to eat. Excellent food and the wait staff and cook were very nice and accommodating. tasted the chicken curry and some butter chicken, the garlic naan and some samosas. It was my first foray into trying indian deserts, and although I had nothing to use as a benchmark, everything we tried was delicious. Apparently the bathrooms were redone, and they are acceptable. All in all I think it's a wonderful place to eat and I would recommend it to anyone. Parking is an issue, as it's in a small shopping area with shared parking. Kinda small so you might unknowingly drive past it. food is definitely worth going and trying for yourself!

Very very delicious food and excellent service! It looked like there was only one employee behind the register but he delivered 100%. I went in a group with six people and all the dishes were very good. Prepare to wait for the food though, it took about an hour for all of us to get our food but it was worth it! He also has a great variety of sweets, and he took the time to let us sample them and chatted with us! Very nice experience, all of us loved it!

Best Indian food I have had in San Antonio. This place did not have a buffet, which is great because it's not as expensive. We had the palak paneer, malai kofta, and an order of the vegetable samosas. Everything was excellent! Parking sucks, but the food is worth it.

Small place worth your money. It’s not fancy but the food quality is excellet. I loved their paani puri!! Also if you like fish do try their tava fry fish. The server is very friendly and will customize any dish the way you want.

So it was a nice day out, n I’m out of work with some cravings for good Indian style friedrice , I’m sure you guys know what I’m talking about , we all have our favorites where that one bandi walla makes the best chicken fried rice in india, that taste can’t be replicated just because it’s original, so I thought going to this place with a skeptical mind set ( don’t judge a book by its cover), it was quite surprising, this is a story of a “WOW” experience talking to the owner who runs this place from Tuesday’s to Sunday, he was quite friendly fella, makes you feel right at home from the second you enter the place , at first you will be like “this is it?” , they have all the sweet deliciousness displayed at the front which is always fresh unlike some other places which serve you frozen things, and few chairs and tables lined up on the left of the wall just like a small casual Chai cafe in India, caution may remind you of home quite a bit; so I placed a order of 2 chicken fried rice, sweets, and curry puffs 2 of each to test it out; paid my bill took the food home, the next few things needed to be in steps because this place deserves it. Step one: place the bag on a table floor where ever you can go into a trace with a food coma. Step two: Take in all the aroma of proper Indian bandi style which gets your mouth to water falls. Step three: serve it on a plate (getting all excited hold it there fella) Step four: take your first bite into heaven. This place makes the best food with a passion and understanding of the complexity of texture, aroma, and taste exactly to customers needs, my roommate and I were left with a OMG and beyond expectations, which brought us back to vision and reminded us of those experiences that you can only remember by tast back in INDIA HYDERABAD, some of these street foods in India has got more talent than that of 5 star restaurants, I won’t tell you to run there right away, but I will tell you not to miss it. Love the food it’s to die for!!!
