Good and cheap. Plenty of good food for not so much. Can't beat it.

Stopped by real quick. Made a weird custom order which they had no problem making. Tacos were a good size for the price. Definitely need to return to try the other food

This restaurant has been around a long time been going here since I was a kid and it's amazing place to sit down or get some good original Mexican food. With a try at least once

I heard about this place from a friend. The restaurant itself is nothing elaborate but the food more than makes up for it. My mother and I both ordered the puffy tacos and enchiladas without rice and beans thinking the plate would be smaller but we were wrong! The platter of food came out we were floored! The puffy tacos are huge and the enchiladas seemed enormous! The enchiladas were piping hot and ooey gooey cheesy; the chili con carne over them was delicious. The puffy tacos were so good! It's a shame that I couldn't finish all the food because it was so yummy. I will definitely be back soon!

I haven't been here in a while. My favorite was the Carne guisada. On this visit I had the juevos rancheros plate with carne guisada. The guisada was not up to par as I remembered. Ordered eggs over medium and were overcooked. Still tasty though.

This place is only open 6am-3pm daily. The food is the best hands down. We live 3 hours south. It is a must stop restaurant đŸ€€ Home made tortillas. One is enough.

Just stopped here for the first time and tried the canre guisada taco and the bean with chorizo and instantly fell like I found my new favorite taco place. It is a place I would recommend you try at least once but you will see it does not disappoint. Big tacos for big appetites.

I usually get my kiddos 2 tacos each and the lady in the front said “are you sure?? They’re pretty big” and I appreciated the “down sell” because she could’ve easily let me buy 6 huge tacos! 😂 The kids filled up on the one and the flavor was 10/10!!! We loved loved loved the beans, very good flavor! & the tortillas de mĂĄs harina were very fluffy and tasty! We have high expectations when it comes to authentic Mexican food and Tejas cafĂ© is up to par (coming from a Mexican/latino family). Thank youse guys so much for the great breakfast! We were getting ice on our way to the lake and I’m glad that moment we introduced us to the restaurant!

I've been eating for years. This place is still the best in my opinion the Tacos are top notch. Be sure you bring a appetite with because these tacos are loaded. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new spot for breakfast.

I had to pickup Tacos and the regular spot I used said they were open at 6 am. But the employees decided 7 am was opening time instead. Which led me to Tejas. Tejas was open like their hours stated, the Tacos were monster size (2 regular Tacos to 1), and the staff was able to give me 30 within 10 minutes. The place looks like a fast food joint, but the staff was friendly, and they delivered great quality Tacos fast! I can't complain about the prices because they reflected what I received. Also, the bacon was full strips, not pieces, and crispy making the Tacos easy to eat. It was worth the visit.
