This place is SUPERRRR BUENO! Yolis our server was awesome! The food was made fresh to order…Fries, Onion rangs and Pollock fish were crispier than a fresh 💯 bill, had mad flavor and price ( mine & girfriend’s food) was easy on the pockets! The food my girlfriend ordered (not show) was also delicioso. Definitely going again…do your thang Peter Norteno!

First time here, went about 9am, not too busy, spacious, music was at a decent level. Loud for the staff working hard and low enough for customers to enjoy as well as have a decent conversation and order without having to yell. Great prices got so full, couldn't even finish, perfect portions. Definitely will be back. Oh and staff was very attentive.

I had the chicken fried steak meal with fries and green beans. The cfs was hot, fresh, and had a nice bite and good amount of gravy. The green beans were a bit bland but ok. Fries were good but the portion was a bit small. They have a very nice menu full of tasty sounding items that I do want to try! My service was great! She was friendly and kind. Parking IS a challenge!

I have lived in the neighborhood for over 10 years. With an abundance of taquerias in the area, I have incorrectly assumed it wasn’t necessary to venture out. Boy was k wrong! Thankfully, someone from my neighborhood Facebook group posted about Peter El Norteno’s lunch specials. The price point and raves of deliciousness forced me to place an order last Wednesday for a Chicken Fried Steak. That’s right, ordering CFS at a taqueria and expecting greatness is not something you’d think would happen. Holy Gravy on the side! Seasoned to perfection. Crispy, Crunchy, tasty! Hands down my favorite CFS I have ever tried. The sides require a little table seasoning and maybe some “soul food” spices from your purse stash of seasonings. But that’s forgotten when you bite into that crunch. On Monday’s you have the opportunity to have the CFS or the CFC for $6.99 including a tea! I’ve tried both, the fried pollock, chicken and beef fajitas (sautéed not flame grilled or broiled), and some of my bf’s green chicken enchiladas, which he said were the best he has ever had. He ordered them a week later for the lunch special and said he never order enchilada form the same place twice in a row. Everything’s is delish. My preference is CFS, Fried Fish, Green Chicken Enchiladas, CFC, beef fajitas, chicken fajitas. Next up cheese enchiladas, chopped steak and what?!? Liver and onions? Not since the grandest days of Luby’s have I enjoyed liver and onions. (A more recent visits to Luby’s found the dish lackluster and sans anything resembling the award winning Luby’s dish). Mao happy to finally try this place. The food is incredible and the people who work there are even more so. Much love to the owners, cook (apparently the former cook from Lulus!!), servers, and even the customer thag keep this place alive and thriving. Oh! Parking is terrible during lunch. Make sure you allot some time to find parking and please be mindful of the residents and the construction workers in the area.

One of our friends passed away so looking for comfort food around our auto shop best fleet service we stopped by Norteno...Our first time here and we were very satisfied with the food and service. The food was ready under 15 mins and had a large selection. You can order breakfast for lunch or lunch for breakfast. Homemade tortillas and the sweet tea were delicious along with everything else ...we had a large group of 9. Restaurant is a Clean establishment. Although it was pretty busy we still were served in a timely manner. Great service came with a beautiful smile. The price was right too. My wife and I and two toddlers ate for less than $25. Our plates were huevos rancheros no salsa and a delicious carne guisada taco, Bean n cheese for the girls and enchilada's for the missus... Off Cincinnati and Fredericksburg....parking limited. Lots of staff on shift making it a fast paced delicious quick lunch. Thanks again we will be back.-brcmedia
