Taco Cabana

You know..the people at this location, they try to do this well. I was so pleased with the detail of the order taking and preparation. They have a unique team at this 1604 and Nacogdoches location. Good job all involved. My order was the shredded chicken taco with Lettuce and Tomato 🍅. I '''' also #### had %%%% 3 bean tacos.. omg great.

Taco Cabana at this location has had its ups and downs as to quality of food, sanitation and cleanliness over the years.   Never-the-less,  Taco Cabana remains one of my wife's favorite Mexican restaurants.   Decor is simple but nice.  Outside dining is possible.   Their salsa bar is excellent and the  restaurant encourages customers to take  servings of salsa home with them.  We ate here today.  The place was clean but not spotless.   trash barrel emptied,  tables bussed & clean.   Current manager was pesonally involved and courteously delivered food ordered to our table.   My wife ordered a two beef enchilada plate; whereas,  I went for a beef fajita plate. Cost: $14.69. Like it that the  fajitas were  already placed  inside  rolled tortillas.   Added the salsa and guacamole.   The fajita  meat was tender, tasty,  and outstanding.   Not fond of the Mexican  Rice which was on the dry sticky side.  Our experience on this dining outing   is  reason to  return.
