This place is fun ! And definitely a place worth trying it was my first time but the vibes were awesome everyone was there to have fun and no one was there to judge one another . Meet some chill ppl .drinks at the bar we're strong . the drag show was really cool and they had three or four bars with multiple different areas to dance and music even including an outdoor area. I'm definitely straight but this please can definitely be fun if you aren't awkward or Uncomfortable with seeing to people of the same-sex making out.

Been coming here since 2006, maybe 2005. Either way, it is a nice place to drink. I think the place has a nice vibe. If you go early (around 10pm) the cover was only $2 which is reasonable for the place. It has a lot of nice little nooks and crannies with different vibes. The dance floor was a little small and crowded. The bartenders are quick and attentive and free refills on soda pop for the designated driver. Of course, like most bar coke...it's usually flat. I like the open air bar. It was calming...but the sofas were really uncomfortable and awkward to sit in..it's like they are pushing you not to sit in them.

With a mixture of great drag performances, funny competitions, and music variety, this club is my favorite so far in San Antonio. The Heat features two distinct dance floors which play two different varieties of music (from what I can tell). There are drag shows that take place but don't stop you from dancing if you wish on the other dance floor. The atmosphere is very energetic compared to other clubs and overall I have a blast when I go.
