Henry's Mexican Restaurant - San Antonio - Photo album

This place is right next to the Amazon site, the team and I loved to eat here! The food is tasty, clean, and has a homestyle feel to it. I recommend the puffy tacos, the Carne Guisada (know I'm spelling that wrong, lol), and the fish is danger as well. Ask for the green salsa to go with the chips! T
Henry's is what you might call a roadside family-owned Mexican joint, situated along the countryside all by its lonesome. Definitely a place to stop in if you're looking for some good food, great service and nice people. Got a great breakfast deal! Three hefty, hot bean and cheese tacos for $3.99.
Great food! You must get the Big Henry!! The staff are so very friendly.
Try and stop there for brunch every chance I get. Service and food always hits the spot including their hot green salsa.
The building looks a little shady but don't let the looks fool You ,not bad for being right outside of San Antonio, Texas
Best carne guisada i.v had in a while!!! Definitely will go back !!! And the tortillas were melt in your mouth home made !!!!
Amazing, has the greatest taste for Mexican food near St Hedwig, they are kind and has a great service. Food is amazing, they add just te right amount of salt, and they give you more salt if your palate isn't getting it.
Had the Cheeseburger basket. Still one of the best burgers in San Antonio. Good service, Clean restrooms. And Home of Henry's Taco :)
Love this place. I come here all the time and I love buying tacos from here for some of my customers! Great service, great food, and great atmosphere!!!!
Henry's is that little place you always hear about that no one can find. Best food and service. I've been eating there for 5 yrs.
Nelly (I hope I got that right) provides wonderful service and seems to always be in a great mood which is refreshing as well as inspiring, especially now a days. Best Carne Guisada I've had in a while. Soon as I saw it, I just knew it was going to make my day ten times better.
Had a chorizo n egg taco, bacon n egg taco(they only have the strip which is what I wanted) and a papa ranchera with country sausage a la Mexicana taco. All were delicious.
My first visit, was driving by. On my first visits to mex or texmex restaurants I order chorizo and egg tacos. Always. Did have a longer than expected wait; but, not bad. For the brand of chorizo they use, the tacos were pretty good. Is there better elsewhere? Yes and of course no. Good job!
A hole in the wall type of restaurant with friendly and family feel staff and very good food. All home made and delicious. The bathroom was the only weird thing. I think the men's bathroom was being used as the one customer bathroom based on the sign but it was co fusing. It was old but clean but fo
Great home cooking great service awesome tea my new favorite place to eat
Puffy tacos were so good 😍 rice and beans also very good. Everything was hot. The waitress was very nice and friendly and on her toes. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Good Mexican food. I found this place by accident and I am glad I decided to give it a try as I am the type to only stick to places that I know are good. I had the Mexican Burger and it was delicious. Waitress was prompt and provided excellent service. I'm definitely going to have to go back for a s
