Love Casa de Rosa! Cute, family run business. Great Tex Mex food, delicious salsas de tomate, verde y habañero también. Fast for takeout/pickup and never stingy on breakfast taco filling!

Very nice little gem! Food top notch! The barbacoa taco not greasy at all! Very juicy! Chicharrones en salsa yummy! Add that green creamy chile...delicioso! The migas taco. Talk about huge! Home made tortillas! Flour and corn . We had to try the corn with a little butter n salt...shut ur mouth...so stinking good! They have half n half for ur coffee...winner winner! ANNA was our waitress such a sweetheart! Service on point! We never needed anything. She was on top of it..we met the owner Ernesto. So nice! Stop by..don't just think about it! DO IT! Menudo on Saturdays with the patita!

The food was so good! I went off the pictures posted on FB by a buddy of mine and so glad I did. I had the carne guisada will cheese taco and was immediately hit with the nostalgic taste of my childhood. The meat was tender, cheese and a slightly sweet taste to it, and the all so important sauce was rich with flavor. I also had the Mexican omelet which was great as well. My wife had menudo which es great. It reminded me why I love the menudo from here in San Antonio more than anywhere else I've been. I highly recommend you give this place a try. I'll be back again for sure.

Very good food, very good prices. All around great experience and we met the owner and she was so nice to us. So good when the owner cares like that. Waitresses were great as well and food was so good I thanked the cook on the way out.

We came here for the brisket tacos. Once there we ordered other kinds of tacos. They were very good. Rosa the owner takes the time to greet new customers and gets to know them a bit. It's a small location but they make you feel at home.

Tania stepped up to help in her mother's unavoidable absence today as we stepped in near closing time for a late lunch. We were immediately made to feel welcome though the 2:00 pm witching hour for taquerias was fast approaching. Basket of chips and salsa were a simultaneous dispensation with a warm greeting and a seat just outside the kitchen. Chips were a second muster of bagged provenance, but the salsa casera made the "A" list. As magnetic as the much advertised enchilada plate for an everyday price of couch change, $3.99 is, the siren's call of a combination plate of enchiladas and taco always seems to lure me toward the danger of an eminent overload. Especially when a plate of bean and cheese nachos precedes the siren's combo call. A quick repair job to the nacho cheese quantity and away it did go. At first glance the stubbiness of the enchiladas would appear to be a shortcoming. As consumption progressed and the stomach usurped perceptual control back from the eyes, diminution transmuted into more of an advantage, i.e., room for further ingestion. The cheese hounds that we are, a bit more of it with additional gravy would have made the beef picadillo roll-ups just woofy! Kudos on the puffy taco masa in that the bomb bay doors never cracked open to convert our puffies into taco salads. The frijoles were a taste treat and venturing to wonder how they would be as taco filling with bacon and cheese turned into a request for two to go for later consumption as we neared completion of the meal. Not to be eclipsed by the food in her gracious role as hostess, Tanya brought out an overstuffed brisket taco full of lightly smoked beef for us to try that she said was slow cooked every Friday to offer as a plate, in tacos, and also, get this, as filling for the enchiladas! Reason enough by itself for a visit here. Just another family owned Mexican food cafe in a ubiquitous strip center you say? Maybe so, but this one has a heart of gold that they wear on their sleeve and can be seen in the service, their homemade food, and the sincerity of everyone we met to insure you are pleased with your meal. These days, that's saying something!

Awesome experience at Casa de Rosa Cafe. We walked in as they were closing and they treated us as VIPs. Thank you! The food was delicious. They continued with their great customer service from the moment we walked in throughout our meal. Did I mention that everything was cook to ordered. I am definitely coming back.

This is a great place to eat with your significant person. They have great Portions and the quality of their food is awesome! The service was fast with a great staff. Something I've never experienced in a restaurant was the canned cokes with a cup of ice is a great way to make your drinks a little fun. The food got us full and the prices for the plates are even better with the portions given! The home made tortillas are on point! Dont forget to ask for Avacado. Small building but it's worth it.
