This was my first visit. I had the Spam Musubi appetizer and the Macadamia Crusted Chicken. The chicken dish took a little extra time to come out, but it was hot, delicious, and well worth the wait.

Better Hawaiian food than Hawaii itself, and the family atmosphere is so welcoming and genuine!

We stumbled on this place by accident, while looking to have lunch by Fort Sam Houston. Let me just say we were AMAZED!! The food was delicious and fresh. If you are in the area during lunch hours I would highly recommend. Their primary business is catering and I can’t wait to use them for our next event.

We had an event that was catered by Aloha Kitchen and I was absolutely delighted! The food was FANTASTIC and all the staff were helpful and friendly and shared much aloha. We had guests that had never tried Hawaiian food before and they were in line for second and third helpings! I highly recommend them and will frequent their dine in location often, I'm sure! They also hold entertainment and holiday events. I will be sure to get to those too! I wholeheartedly recommend Aloha Kitchen for dining, catering, and entertaining! If I could give more stars I certainly would.

Aloha Kitchen was wonderful! The family that owns it was so nice and welcoming. It was our first time having Hawaiian food and they helped explain and answer any questions we had about the menu. We even learned a little about the food and culture, which was so great! Hoping to get to San Antonio for their Aloha festival in June. I very much recommend that you try this place for their food, their friendliness and just a wonderful experience over all!

Ordered a combo plate. My two entrees were dragging meat and katsu chicken. It came with sticky rice, pasta salad and I chose kimchi as my added side. Also ordered the spam musubi as an appetizer. Everything was delicious!! I will go here again. The ladies there were so sweet and very kind. It's near a military base and lots of service people were there. It was a very comfortable place, not very big, but cozy.

We hired Aloha Kitchen to cater our daughters graduation party and to provide entertainment. This family owned restaurant went above and beyond to ensure everyone had fun during their performance. The food was absolutely delicious and the Huli Huli Chicken was to die for, to be honest it all was! The items we ordered were, the kulua pork, huli huli chicken, rice, Mac salad, pineapple meatballs, mixed fruit, and coconut cream corn. We would definitely rehire them for catering and the show! I promise if to book them for either you will not be disappointed! Mahalo!

I visited Aloha Kitchen today for the first time. For my first visit I ordered the Kalbi plate with cucumber kimchi, mac salad and sticky rice. I also had the pot sticker appetizer. The serving size of the Kalbi was great, nice thick cuts of meat, charred on the edges, cooked medium well inside, and a rather large portion. They left the strips of fat on the edges of the meat which is what gives it a lot of flavor, theres nothing worse than lean kalbi. The portion and price of this item beat all of the other local Korean and Hawaiin restaurants. The cucumber kimchi was spicy and fresh, not overly caked with pepper like many places, the mac salad was good as well, but a bit plain for my taste. The meal as a whole was excellent. Service here was good as well, the entire staff was friendly and talkative, going table to table to check on customers. The menu has a nice variety of items, all priced more affordably than other restaurants. A nice mixture of cultural foods blended hawaiin style. I will definitely be visiting again to try some more items. Its a shame they are only open for lunch. If you cant make lunch they are open late on Fridays, so give this place a try. Its definitely a must try.

We recently hired Aloha Kitchen to cater our 30th Wedding Anniversary luau style party. Everyone was such a pleasure to work with. We ordered Huli Huli Chicken, Pork Sliders on Hawaiian rolls, Pineapple Meatballs, Spam Musubi, Coconut Cream Corn, Cucumber Namasu and, Macaroni Salad, Two Kine Squash, Rice, Rolls. Every dish was freshly cooked, warm when served, and absolutely delicious. So many of our guests raved about the food and how delicious it was, and are planning to dine at the restaurant on Harry Wurzbach Rd. And I can’t say enough about the crew that served the food. Everyone was so polite and helpful. Many thanks to Rene’e and everyone at Aloha Kitchen for your hospitality, and for sharing the wonderful foods from your culture. We will see you again soon.

Wonderful little cozy place, the staff makes you feel like family. If you're looking for something fun to try, like their delicious spam dishes, teriyaki chicken or beef, this place is a little island paradise of flavors and family in one. =)
