Recently dined in at this location and was extremely disappointed in the service. When we walked in, the hostess seated us immediately at at table. Soon after that, a waitress approached us with an annoyed look and simply uttered “something to drink?”. No greeting, no smile, no customer friendly attitude, none of that. Never got her name since she never told us. Food was good but the waitress’s attitude made me and my table so uncomfortable to the point we rushed to eat and leave. On top of that, every-time I requested a refill, it seemed like it bothered her. She just grabbed the glass without saying a word. Every-time she approached our table, there was tension. We noticed her demeanor was somewhat pleasant at her other tables so we were wondering why we were the only exception. I’m a waitress so I can understand when someone is having a bad day or whatnot, but her attitude was uncalled for. We did nothing to deserve that.

We've always had great service and food at this location. We came here after a volleyball game and very poor service at Wing Daddy's across the highway. We were greeted and sat very quickly. The server was nice and the food was on point!

I've heard this place has the best wings. Nope I've had better at wings stop. Although there Philly and onion rings were good. Also I think it's unsanitary that the girls are leaning/sitting on the edge of tables. When they barely had anything covering their backside. Especially since that is where ppl eat on.

It's hard to give a 1 star when this place used to be the place to be. Yall finally incorporated a happy hour but yet to fully acknowledge it. Service is crap. No more then 10 patrons in the restaurant n still takes upwards to 30 minutes to get a beer. Yall have some great waitresses and have some that aren't. All I can say is no wonder twin peaks is the new place to be

The menu has changed. Went there for their clam chowder and it is no longer on the menu. The hostess was rude and acted like we were bothering her, dumped us at a table in the path of the kitchen, asked to be moved took us to a table that was dirty, the table and a chair had sticky little foot prints and there was food on the floor, when asked to move to another table she acted like we were being difficult. Our waitress was cleaning the table while we ate and explained to the people at the next table that a small child had spilled his drink there and so she was cleaning it and the floor. Will still go to Hooters, just not that location.

the best food I've had at any Hooters ever! service was great too! our waitress taylor switched channels for us, got us extra ranch etc and was there when she needed to be/not when she wasnt. will be back! very impressed and happy...anf I'm hard to please

We had to wait awhile before our Hooters Girl came over and took our drink order. We were seated in the corner and it seemed we were forgotten. Almost asked to be reseated or leave. Chips and queso was good although bowl was halfway full of cheese. Boneless wings were popcorn size, so disappointed.

My husband and I are regular customers at the Hooters on Wurzbach. We have never had an issue there but every time we come to the 281 location we always have a problem. We ended up coming here last night to meet up with a couple of friends for dinner and drinks. After a few drinks, laughing and having a good time the waitress was told by her manager Justin to close our tickets cause we were being to loud. We weren't causing any trouble with other guest or our waitress. Needless to say the waitress didn't even agree with the manger but she was only doing her job. As we know from experience at the other location we go there cause we always have a good time. 281 always has bad customer service!

Very, very slow service. Ordered to go and was told it would be 15 minutes like usual. Ordered at 8:55. I just now got my food. The place has a third of the seats open. There's no reason for them to be that slow.

No happy hour, bartender was rude and was annoyed most of the shift. Food was so so, but let's be honest, no one really goes for the food. Second shift bartender tried to charge me for another beer and was upset when I said I only had one. Oh and $7.50 for a house tequila shot, that's absurd ! Again, NO HAPPY HOUR! Go to the Wurzbach location.
