First time enjoying seafood at this restaurant post COVID under new management. Happily greeted upon entering the restaurant by the staff. Misha promptly brought our plates out to our table smelling amazing 🤩 The food was hot, fresh and delicious 😋 To be honest, I couldn't even finish it all. Specia
Throughly enjoyed my lunch, I had the shrimp and fries plate, substituted the fries for okra. Food was fresh and delicious tasting, and my service received was friendly and professional. The owner's were on the premise greeting/serving and ensuring everyone was taken care of.
Not my first time, but lawdy lawdy their Drum & Shrimp with a side of Gumbo is the bomb. ESPECIALLY their kooliad 🥴🤤 if you ain't tried any of it, you MUST !
Delicious!! The fish came out hot and ready. The coleslaw was also great!! Food came out quickly and the service was good! Would recommend 💯. Sweet potato pie was also yummy. Had a great experience overall
When your hungry and your visiting it’s okay to just randomly stop somewhere for food! NOT only was the food past amazing the customer service is impeccable. I loved the energy of love and passion for food and customers. If I could afford to order the whole menu I surely would because the food I ate
Had the 10 shrimp and subbed okra for the fries. They shrimp were huge! Everything was great right down to the slaw. I'm coming back to try the oxtail meal!
The food here is delicious! The catfish is on POINT! Customer service is great as the waitress helped us with the menu and made great suggestions. They actually have KOOL AID and made just how I like it, SWEET! The location has a ma and pop feel to it, so don't go there thinking you in Beverly Hills
Just left from eating here and the food was great!!!...we had chitterlings..greens.. cabbage.. chicken wings and sweet potato pie with Kool aid ...our server was Keke and she was attentive and made sure we was good. We will definitely be back ❤️
I ate here for the first time last week and absolutely loved the food. The best Southern cooking I've found in my 12 years in San Antonio. The staff was friendly and service was great. I will definitely go back.
Amazingly friendly and attentive service. Good was flavor well and the fried fish was crispy and delicious. Spouse got the smothered pork chops and they were amazing as well.
The food is real good. The food doesn't have a lot of grease like other restaurants. Pricey but it's all worth it. I love it
The food for my time visiting were pleasant Their service was okay,I think I irritated them somewhat asking what didn't have pork, but pork is not of my diet and I'm allergic so I thought to ask,but I still end up with greens that have pork, but the place were so far I just threw it away, that sucked.T
The greet you when you walk in the door and the girls at the register are really pleasant and friendly. The even closed on Sunday so they can attend church service. Oh and the food is just like momma use to make rest in paradise mom. Feels like home thank you blessings
My husband took me here we had been dating for about a year and a half so it was the late 80s and I told him I wanted some seafood and I loved it never got back around to it because I lived by lackland AFB but I have relocated and I'm now closer and here it is 2023 and I still love it ❤️
