Great burgers!!!!! I got the Chili cheese bacon burger combo and it was the best burger I have had in a long time. The bun was toasted perfectly with some butter and grease. Chill had big chunks of meat with lots of flavor. The bacon and cheese went perfect with the big juicy burger and add lettuce, tomatoes, pickles,and mayo & mustard 😋. All around it was delicious. Steak fries were good also but loved the burger. Customer service was great as well. We took it to go and I couldn't wait to eat the burger and forgot to take some pictures
The food was great, setvice not bad. They charge a dollar to grill onions, which doesn't make sense! The burger was great, and the fries were fresh made. I tried it , i liked it, but not enough to go back . They don't like credit cards there, so if you go, take cash.
It had been a long time since eating here. Food was still good .. I ordered the chicken fried steak with a baked potato and salad . Hubby had the sausage special. I finished all my steak and even enjoyed a piece of the sausage .. service was great. Our waitress always made sure we had everything we needed and our cups were never empty.
I had not been to Barneys in years, they did not let me down. The regular burger meal for a single burger with fries or onion rings and a drink was $15 and the burger was so good, it had a big patty that I am not used to getting at burger joints, the onion rings were perfect. I will definitely be back.
Great burger....flavors on point very huge burger I got the double meat double cheese bacon burger...let me say ur guna need two hands and a bib very delicious dripping with flavor the fries where nice and crispy ...will be coming back
I had not been here since I was a kid. What was I thinking? My husband and I were on a date and I wanted a juicy burger and I got it! The burger was made exactly to my liking.
OMG! Best burgers I've had so far in San Antonio. They are 1/2 lb and very filling... I love this restaurant and it's very clean.
Uncle Barney's burgers are very generous and have a great seat to them, the parties are made from the steak house trimmings so they are pretty dry imho but they do have flavour that a normal dry beef patty lacks. The buns are delicious! They have a butter crisp toast and are warm but they do break apart easily given the burger portion, I would like to see a slightly thicker bottom bun or maybe denser to keep it from breaking apart.
These are made to order and everything comes out hot and at perfect temperature.
I come here when I want a home style burger with full toppings (full leaf lettuce 🥬 and full tomato 🍅 slices) instead of burger stand toppings where things are shredded or diced.
The ribeye burger is terrific. I really love the decorations in the building, very rustic and Texan. Great staff as well.
Service is great, prices are average or on the high side. Steak was fried not grilled, not my favorite but my buddy likes fried. I like fire grilled but not a deal breaker. Options are good. Staff was so friendly I would gladly go back but this time I'll get the chicken fried steak.
