Love finding small family owned businesses. The food was delicious, the waitresses kind, There's a large menu with a wide range of food, from Mexican favorites to Sea food platter's, or just a hamburger if that's what you want. Definitely have to return to try out more food. The rice was so tasty it caught me off guard.
Great food and friendly staff at a fair price. We had the Jalisco Burrito and Chili Relleno, portions were big and both were amazing. Will definitely be back!
For my first time eating here, on mother's day no less, I felt this restaurant does it pretty good! All of the waitresses were kind and attentive and the atmosphere is the classic tex-mex vibes. As for the food I can't comment on their tex-mex food because I got the "big breakfast" which consisted of 2 pancakes, scambeled eggs, a hashbrown, and bacon BUT I did enjoy what I ordered. I felt the eggs were the best part of the dish as they had the juices and flavors of the other foods made on the grittle such as the migas. The pancakes were pretty standard, they could have been a little more crispy but its okay! Hashbrown was GOOD but greasy so if you have GERD, take some antacids.
TLDR: classic tex-mex for you needs out in south east SA.

I was not a fan of Mexican Food until I ate here. The best Juevos Rancheros in town. Everything is delicious and affordable.
They will modify any reasonable request, like adding a cup of Charro Beans with Rice, or added Bacon.

This is a good place to eat when you're at Calaveras Lake...it's also the closest...the food is good, the staff is kind, and always smiling...and the prices are reasonable.

Absolutely delicious breakfast. You can’t go wrong with anything ordered off the menu. Fast and friendly service. Will definitely be going back regularly!
