I come to this place atleast once a week. They have different specials every Monday that last till Sunday the drinks are very reasonably priced and the food. O my the food is the best dive bar, bar b que texas take on classics from all over the world. I Love this place and it has become a stable of my wife and I's palate. I look forward to going to this place every time. The best bar in san antonio hands down. A HIDDEN GEM
Stopped by to see a band, Radio Chaos, I had heard good things about - wasn't disappointed. Great variety of rock music! Bartenders were really friendly and attentive. Small, but nice selection of beers on tap - didn’t pay attention to bottle selection. They also have their own "specialty drinks" and what looked like a nice size food menu. Band sounded great, but the place itself is kinda small, which made it EXTREMELY difficult to try and have a conversation when band was playing, even w person right next to you. I thought they'd be outside. 🤷♂️ Seating inside is kinda limited and has a cramped? setup. Never went out to patio area but it seemed to have it's fair share of patrons hanging out there. It is what the sign inside proudly says it is, "a dive bar" , so if that's your thing, this is your place! Relaxed older crowd hangout 🍻
Our go-to bar for a night out with friends. Staff is kind and always welcoming. Food is out of this world especially their grilled cheeses and house made chicharrones. Not too rowdy even on a busy night. A good mix of ages. One of the two main entrances are wheelchair accessible. Bar interior, and exterior porches are wheelchair accessible. Bathroom is wheelchair accessible in a manual wheelchair but may be difficult in a power wheelchair.

I typically only come here on Sunday evenings, but every now and then, I'll come on a different day/daypart.
The food here is phenomenal. There are different cooks, so certain food items have slight variations in terms of presentation and execution, but I've never had any food here that I did not enjoy.
Because I only come on a certain day, there is typically the same bartender to deal with, and the normal Sunday night bartender, Leanna is exceptional. Whether or not it's busy, she can hold it down and still make sure everyone is taken care of as quickly and efficiently as she can.
This establishment should not be slept on
Loaded fries were really good and the ordered didn't take long to come out - everyone there was nice and easy to talk with - beers were cold - when pulling in it didn't look like much parking but there is plenty in the back
Had so much fun and great drink specials. I recommend this place. The bar tender is so sweet and nice we enjoyed his service. And his smile makes u happy. the bar tender makes u feel wanted at the tavern. A lot of seats and food also. . wow. I recommend this place. Tell him. Great place to grab drinks and food. Live music is always awesome there too when they have shows! Check out San Antonio local bands Wrevvlonne and Fox Motel on all social platforms for awesome music! We got to catch Wrevvlonne playing here and it was awesome!
This place is an awesome little gem. A tad cramped for having out inside, but they have a massive patio, too.
This place definitely has a dive bar feel to it, but is very welcoming.
The food is amazing and caught me completely off guard! We checked them out late at night when we got into town. We split one of their daily empanadas. I can't recall what they said was in it, but either way it must be tried!
In addition to that we split their Duck Confit Chelsea, and it rocked! The Chelsea has basil pesto sauce with mozzarella, rosemary grilled mushrooms, onions, red bell peppers, zucchini, and duck confit. Their dough is made in house, the vegetables are noticeably fresh, and the pesto sauce went perfect on it! All in all, the food is excellent for a place to hang out at, but get there early if you want to sit inside. Definitely a great place to meet with friends to hang.
We’ve recently moved to San Antonio, and decided to give this place a try! So happy we did! Our bartender Johnny was so helpful in choosing our food, and remembered our drinks from our first visit! The outside patio is spacious and relaxing, and not too noisy being right off of Fredericksburg. The food is the best part! Amazing pizzas, stuffed grilled cheeses & quesadillas, and fries topped with any kind of meat called “mess of fries”. Definitely a must try on Fredericksburg!
