We felt like having pizza for dinner and thought to check out @mariosofnewyorkcity Mario's Pizza and Wine Bar. Dad had his Lemonade, and hubby and I had the Sangria. We ordered the Spaghetti with meat sauce for Dad. We also got Ham & Pineapple pizza and a Pepperoni pizza. House salad to share. It was lots of food and all delicious. Mary brought Gerry to visit our table. @mariosofnewyorkcity is part of the San Antonio Gold Diner's Program, and with the spin a wheel, we got the pepperoni rolls for free. So yummy! We had one more hour of traveling so we stop to eat and what a great surprise. Yes cozy environment, good service and awesome food. We had Bonanza - Cabernet by Caymus. Really good!!! The pizza was excellent kind of New York crust. The Prosciutto pizza was a great choice. I will definitely stop here again. Sorry no pictures but what is available will give you a good idea of what Marios offers.

My husband and I went to Mario's for the first time today and we will definitely be returning! We ordered the Mango Margarita and the Sangria which were sweet and tasty! We dined in, and were treated very well by our server - she even brought us waters with our alcoholic beverages without asking. The food was amazing as well - I ordered the Meat Lovers Pizza and my husband ordered the Penne with Sausage and Creamy ricotta - both tasted great. I've been so disappointed with other pizza joints in the North San Antonio area lately, that I am so grateful to have found this gem! Just come here, the food is amazing!

Great pizza! This is the closest to New Your Pizza we have had! If one has ever ate pizza at John's in New York one would know how good it is. Desserts awesome! Staff is friendly and the owners are wonderful friendly people. If you haven't been to this little hidden pizza place, please make the drive for a Friday night date! Good wine list to choose from, set relax and enjoy. Make a reservation or arrive early!

We had the pleasure to dining at Mario’s pizza. I must say it was an amazing experience. The lobster spaghetti was delicious, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and staff were friendly and accommodating. The menu has a variety of options to choose from. Everything were cooked to perfection. Overall we had a wonderful experience and I highly recommended Mario’s restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal.
