Lupitas Mexican Restaurant

First timer! I saw it while driving down culebra and thought I need to go there (the look of the restaurant felt authentic) Our waiter Andi she was amazing! The food was delicious, we got huevos rancheros and huevos rancheros a la mexicana and a barbacoa taco. The only thing that would make it perfect is that the eggs were a little burnt and the barbacoa had no taste. But it was great! They should definitely add limonada to their menu but overall it was great experience

This was my first time trying to pitas even though I’ve been moved to the side of town I’ve been here for four years first time trying their food , and I must say by far the best Mexican food in this area! The servings are a good amount. The tortillas are fresh whether it’s corn or flour, and a Menudo is awesome !!!!Love the atmosphere, how it takes me back to when I was a little girl with my grandpa and seeing pictures on the walls. This is my first time trying, but it will not be the last.

Lupita's on Culebra after the police station is small family owned local Tex Mex restaurant. A local favorite. We ordered the red cheese enchiladas. They had a lot of flavor and was tasty. We ordered a bean and cheese for my daughter which of course is usually the sane everywhere. My taco salad was a small portion but surprisingly filling and I was full. Nothing to write home about except I always love taco salads with the crunchy shell. Right now Las Palapas has the best tasting taco salad in San Antonio. But this restaurant is a local favorite and I recommend this restaurant. Inexpensive and tasty food. The salsa my wife loves so much we bought a jar of it on the way out. Its a garlic onion salsa that is very good and not spicy hot but just has a nice warm salsa soup type of taste. Our server was nice but we had to asl for chis and salsa, napkins and silver ware. Still a good experience for a local Mexican restaurant. The waitress said its busy on the weekends but very open during the week.

First time trying this place. My husband got tacos carne guisada, picodillo and bean and cheese he said they were all delicious. I tried the huevos rancheros plate with over easy eggs and bacon and we both had sweet tea. Everything was amazing and we had great service as well. We will definitely be back and will recommend to anyone looking for a delicious hole in the wall

This is a truly great local Mexican restaurant owned and operated by a mom-and-pop pair. The food is top notch - the chips & salsa were especially tasty - as well as sized well. While our waitress was friendly and engaging, she did need us to remind her about a few items we'd ordered. To her credit, she was attentive without being overbearing. The vibe in Lupita's is a bit of a throwback in terms of decor and environment. The diners all seemed like regulars, which speaks volumes as to quality and care of what and how they serve.
